Vern's Transmission

Finally this guy is being exposed !! to make a long story short,my sister took her car to Vern with a problem with her car jerking,well Vern said it needed the transmission rebuilt.well $1,800.00 dollars later she still had the same problem.took it back to him.he said it wasn't his problem.took it another shop and all that was wrong will it was a bad spark plug wire.she ask the mechanic if there were anyway he could tell if the transmission had ever been out,or rebuilt.well,he wouldn't actually come out and say it,but the look on his face did!! do yourself a favor and stay away from this place. more

These people act like they are doing you a favor by repairing your vehicle.it's like ""shut up,give me your money,and don't bring it back"".that's the impression i got anyway.very unpleasant experience! i was new to the area and didn't know much about them.since then,ive heard alot of complaints about them.wish i had known that before!! more

I had transmission work done on my truck in december of 07.Vern told me he was going to do all these wonderful things to help me. It took a month to fix it.When i picked up the truck and paid 1800 dollars it lasted a week and had to take it back.Vern said i was abusing the truck which i wasnt . A few weeks later I got it back and it still didnt shift right. Vern said it will get better when I drive it so I did. Now a year later it is not shifting right so i took it to a different transmission shop.They took it apart and found out that the clutch pack was not put together right causing the shift problem. I called him and he offered no help to make me happy. Now I have to pay more money to get this fixed when it should have been done right the last time. In my opion think twice on taking your vechicle to Verns unless you have plenty of money to give away and like to walk a lot because thats what will happen! more
