I went to this store yesterday. They did a great job. Every employee was helpful and knowledgeable. The saleswoman helped me get an upgrade from my old phone which I broke, and the new phone is much better but it cost the same as my old one would have. Not to mention its a pretty cute phone and the lady helped me pick it out and was very informed. Also I've been to other verizon stores around Richmond and they were fine, but this store has a fairly small lobby and small staff so its easy to get help. When I go to the other stores there are often so many employees/customers things get chaotic and you have to wait a long time. Also sometimes people want to B.S. on the job but everyone on the staff at this store was working and helping. The main reason I'm reviewing this store though, is because I noticed it got bad reviews. A lot of people that didn't like it said so because they couldn't understand the staff. Their English is fine though! I understood everything they said and made conversation. Whoever said that probably only understands English if it is spoken with a southern accent, or is racist, or just doesn't like anyone that could be from another country. So don't pay attention to those reviews because they were written with narrow mindedness or just to be mean, and I don't think its fair for this store to have their business affected like that, because they do a great job! This is actually a very very good store! I highly recommend it over any of the other locations that are nearby. more

The staff was well informed about the newest technology and gave me great advice about which phone would best suit my needs. They were right, I love my new phone.\r \r Their English is perfect. It might be hard to understand for someone who lives in a bubble but if you're semi-intelligent you'd know the difference between an accent and speaking ""little to no English.""\r \r They were very helpful when my rebate was not correctly processed by the Verizon people (at corporate, not within the store.) They called and within a few weeks everything was right.\r \r I'll definitely go back. Pros: great customer service, very knowledgeable about product Cons: can't think of any more

Warning 4/13/2009

Cons continued... 1) All employees spoke little to no English 2) When I inquired about a phone that had been released on Verizon for over a week, they claimed to have never heard of it before. 3) When I called a store TWO blocks away, they informed me that they did in fact have the phone and that I could buy it there. I usually have favorable experiences with Verizon, but this store is terrible. Avoid at all costs. Pros: Can't think of any... Cons: Numerous, look to details more
