Vaughan is truly a top notch company... which is hard to find these days! From sales, to service, to follow-up, Vaughan handled everything with the highest degree of professionalism. I ask A LOT of questions, and I can be a perfectionist. Mike G. and his crew took time to answer all of my questions and explain to me the various options for a furnace install. ( I cannot say the same about the other companies I received a quote from) We had a Trane XV95 and coil installed. The crew was courteous and professional providing us with a neat furnace install. Mike. G. kept in touch with us during and AFTER the install to ensure that we were happy. He even came back to inspect the work a second time. Choose Vaughan and you will not be disappointed. Vaughn's Oil Company was very unprofessional! Our heater system needed repair and we called this company. They came out and after "suckering" us into purchasing a maintenace package with a guarantee that we would purchase oil from them; otherwise we would be breaking the expensive contract. We've ordered heating oil from them twice and during the week-end we ran out of oil. (yes, last week-end when it was about 15 degrees outside) I called on Saturday and Sunday however both of their telephone numbers were not forwarding calls. When we reached someone in the office first thing Monday morning, we were informed that we would have to pay an extra $125 in order to have oil delivered that day. (keep in mind it was approximately 15 degrees outside) After speaking to the customer service representative and then being transferred to the owner, he informed me that it was not his problem that we ran out of oil and that we should keep a better eye on how much oil we have. We had a problem with our air conditioner this summer and called Vaughn. They came out and did a servica call, and luckily were able to fix the problem. They were expensive, but because we needed our AC fixed we allowed them to fix it. Ask for a price before you agree to the work. more
