USS Constellation Museum 8/20/2005

The USS Constellation Museum is so cool because it is on the actual USS Constellation. The ship is the last all-sail ship built by the US Navy. At the museum you learn what life was like on the warship during Civil War times. Another cool thing about this museum is that unlike a lot of other museums, there are many hands-on exhibits. It's a lot of fun for everyone. more

Worthwhile historical site 8/17/2005

While not as rich and interesting as many of the historical places in Baltimore, the USS Constellation is still a should-do for any tourist visiting the city. It boasts a nice view of the Harbor, and the crew on board is very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions one might have about the ship. Visiting this ship is similar to visiting the Constitution in Boston. more

a nice museum if you like history of sailing 8/6/2005

My father is a ex Navy man,so we grew up around ships and him telling us the history. The USS Constellation is the last Navy built all sail ship and is now anchored in the Baltimore harbor as a museum. The ship is quite a site to see,and we usually include a walk by it on every harbor excursion. They have sxhibits on board as well as a tour. more

A piece of history 7/29/2005

The USS Constellation is an unavoidable landmark in the Inner Harbor. It is a warship with sails, and in addition to looking fascinating (especially to the younger crowd), it also shoots off cannons to mark special occasions. My son begs to go every time he sees it. It's especially appealing in winter, when its masts are decorated with Christmas lights. more
