I ordered 2 beds in April 2010 and got immediate response during order process. In June, got a response that beds were going to be shipped out from China in July. Contacted them a few times in August and September for follow-up, finally got a tracking number on 9/24/10 for possible delivery between 09/29/2010 - 10/13/2010. Beds were finally picked from Gardena, CA warehouse on 10/18/10 after multiple calls to delivery company and Urbanhom. Tried to schedule for Silver delivery but delivery company reported that I needed to contact company to rectify delivery from Bronze to Silver delivery (as stated on invoice). Took 3 days to get response from Urbanhom. When beds finally delivered to my house on 11/16/10, 1 bed missing and 2nd bed missing assembly instructions, parts don't match, and dimensions did not match with what was stated over the phone. Left multiple phone messages and sent multiple e-mails but no response from company yet. This is the greatest company to work with if you don't mind 7-month delay of beds and being charged 2 beds and receiving 1 bed with wrong dimensions and no assembly instructions as well as the lack of customer service once you put in your order! Take your own risk! more

Horrible Service Horrible Quality 9/12/2010

I find it really hard to believe that anyone would write an honest good review for this company esp since they offer a promo for writing a positive review! What a joke! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! First of all, they take your money right away but once they have your money they don't respond to your calls. We ordered our furniture in April and didn't get the furniture till August with the promise to get in June. We contacted them many times only to get the run around. When we finally got the furniture, we ordered a sectional set with a chase and table, it came in 3 small boxes, low quality furniture, not only that they sent us the wrong f'ing furniture! Up to now Sept we are still trying to dispute this issue. more

Very good prices! I shopped for a week or so for my furniture, and almost bought from Evinco Design store, but found this website and feel very lucky. The delivery was fast and the coupon that I used was for 20% off and they honored the price. I saved about $650 from my order!!! I recommend UrbanHom.com, 5 stars! more

Great Customer Service..! 7/27/2010

I recently purchased a leather bed from Urban Hom. Upon arrival of my bed it was discovered that the finish was darker then what I had ordered. When I contacted Urban Hom about my dilemma I was greeted with courtesy and concern for my problem. They handled the problem swiftly and professionally, always keeping in close contact with me regarding every development with this problem. They literally bent over backwards to remedy the problem and at the end the problem was resolved to my satisfaction as promised by Urban Hom. more

Horrible Experience 7/7/2010

On Friday, October 23, 2009 I placed an order for two patio furniture sets. The email confirmation I received the same day for the order said "Availability: Arrival Doorstep 3 to 8 weeks". $3199.98 was taken out of my account the following Monday. After many emails (all of which I saved) and phone calls later, I FINALLY got a delivery on March 23, 2010 exactly 5 MONTHS since I had placed the order. I received one of the sets that came in 2 boxes so I signed for the delivery, but called and emailed UrbanHom immediately to let them know only ONE set had arrived. After an additional 2 MONTHS since that phone call I was told the delivery company (Home Direct USA) lost the set and is "searching for it". I was told a 2nd search was then being done and would take 24-48 more hours and they would let me know when they found it. Two more months went by with no word. Finally I spoke with a Jake on the phone who said even though all the emails had his name on them, he was unaware of this issue. So he said he would take care of it. His boss Shane finally agreed a refund for the one set not received ($1649.99) was the best way to fix this. After weeks of calling saying I had not received a refund I finally got an email confirmation June 1, 2010 that $3199.98 had been refunded. However this is July 7 and no money has been received. I have emailed and left messages but get no returned calls. more
