I love the Upstage! The food is fantastic- all kinds of high-end pizzas, pot roast, steak, seafood to boot. The service is first class, as far as small towns go. The music selection is amazing! Del Ray, Guitar Shorty, James Blood Ulmer- the list goes on. The wine selection is short, but good- local and mostly washington varieties. Even includes organic wines for people who cannot have sulfites. Local beer- which is always a treat and many older favorites as well. I heard they'll soon get a hard liquer license, and he said it'll be mostly congac, whiskey, burbon, and a few high end gins and vodkas. No fluffy drinks. Some nights they have big bands- it's great because you can dance in there, eat there, Worth a trip!
Pros: excellent food, patio, nice crowd, good music
Cons: it's in Port Townsend, and not in Seattle!
