Dr Weymuller requires a Doctor's referral for him to see a patient. My husband was referred by one of the world's leading surgeons in another branch of medicine. This was carefully explained to Dr W's patient ""care""coordinator before the referral was made. When my husband Fax'ed his surgeon's referral the ""care""coordinator was rude and condescending. Imagine receiving a referral from a veterinary hospital! (I work at a veterinary hospital and that is where I have access to a FAX.) The patient ""care"" coordinator justified her behavior because she and Dr W felt we were being condescending in the manor in which we had sent the referral. When it was explained to her that I work at a vet hospital she then fell back on the excuse that the referral was incomplete. The information needed to make a complete referral was not given during the first phone call. Physicians are in existence to help patients get the best care possible and to see that all patients needs are met. Dr Weymuller's staff made it clear to us that egos and protocol are the most improtant part of Dr W's practice. Thankfully there are other ENT's available.
Cons: Rude and condescending patient ""care"" coordinator
