I took my boots to repair the rubber heel, and they charged me $15. I usually pay $5-8 for this. Interestingly, they kept say how other places ""charge $20"" for this, and I didn't want to argue with them or waste my time.
The next morning, the left heel fell off right after I stepped on it. I brought it back into this repair place, and the elderly Asian man said that it would cost another $15 to fix it. I told him that I thought that this would be unfair, and then he snapped at me and told me to get out of his shop!
I am usually very easy going, but I had to report this. Don't make my same mistake - do not waste your time going here. There are about 10 other shoe repair places within 3-4 blocks of this place.
Cons: rude service, high prices, poor quality
