The renovated Tara Cinemas is a great, fun place to check out a good movie. They often play independent and foreign films, so there's almost always something interesting playing.
While the theater does not have theater seating, the seats are very comfortable. The lobby is also very nicely decorated.
My only complaint is that this theater only has four screens. Theaters like this do not need 18+ screens like many of the mega-theaters have, but having only four screens does limit the number of independent movies being shown in Atlanta.
Overall, the Tara is a good theater and definitely worth checking out.
