Very Satisfield 3/17/2011

I found Two Sisters,to have a great selection of antiques. The owners are very well versed on their history and value. They were very pleasant to deal with and I would recommend them to family and friends. more

Horrible Store! 11/24/2010

I agree with the other reviewer re the rude and, frankly, ethically-challenged proprietors. Several years ago, I bought a grandfather clock casement here for $200, with the understanding that if/when the other pieces showed up (they had gotten separated in the shipment to the store), I would pay them an additional $100 for them. I got a call regarding the clock movement a week or so later, and I went in and paid the additional amount. A couple of days later, I got a call that the clock's finial had also shown up. When I arrived to pick it up, the owner refused to give it to me unless I gave them an additional $200! If I could give them zero stars, I would. more

i think this store is very good. i like it very much more

Agreement that this store is not a great place 9/27/2006

I agree with how you have described this store...You didn't mention how rude and pushy these two Ladies (?) are....I asked them how they got their merchandise and the more stout of the two gave me a remark that said, in effect, "that our secret". I didn't think I was asking for any piece of confidential information. Besides they live in East Boston, so what can one expect! more

You Break it You Own It 7/18/2005

The Two Sisters Antiques & Collectibles store is located in West Medford Square, easy access via public MBTA bus service or Public Commuter Rail train station stop just a few feet away. I found this store to be very small, extremely cluttered, dusty, dark and dingy. This store has two main small jam packed isle with antiques and collectibles packed so tightly together that walking down the isle is very difficult and narrow. Items were packed floor to ceiling loaded with dust, store policy is "If you break it you own it" more of a look don't touch type store. Store sells trunks, dishes, clocks, watches, jewelry, dishes, glassware, furniture that has a funky moldy smell to them. Prices were extremely high. more
