I like to go to The Twisted Fork on Monday nights. They do a special for $20 you get any entrée, a trip to the salad bar which can be a meal in itself and also your choice of dessert. I always have leftovers so it is two meals for me! more

The Twisted Fork is the best place to go in Raleigh to get desserts. We have been for dinner and it is always good. But I most enjoy stopping in for a piece of Tia Maria cake and cup of coffee. more

Went here on a whim and really enjoyed it. Decent selection of craft beers and 10 or more on tap. Great service. Food was excellent. more

My husband and I are frequent patrons of The Twisted Fork. Most of the restaurants in this part of Raleigh are chains but The Twisted Fork is locally owned. We have even seen the owner in the kitchen preparing food. They also have an amazing Sunday brunch. \r more

I had a wonderful evening at the Twisted Fork. I had a Pimento Cheese and fried green tomato burger. Who would think to top a burger that way? I would not - but I am so gald they did. It was incredible and juicy. Plus they have the option of a gluten free bun. more

The brunch at Twisted Fork is amazing. The food was awesome and freshly made in front of you, omlets to order - hot waffles totally fabulous. more

Best service I have had in a long time. The staff was fantastic. Our server interacted with our children and kept them entertained. The have an amazing kid's menu with great selection of healthy items instead of the typical fried options.\r more

The service here is always outstanding and the quality of food is worth every penny that you pay. I appreciate that they source locally when they can - it makes a difference.\r more

FIRST TIME FOR THE FOUR OF US AT TWISTED FORK. I LIKED WHAT I SAW ON THE WEBSITE & THE BLOGS & REVIEWS. LOOKING FORWARD TO A RETURN TRIP & ALSO WILL TRY THE BRUNCH TOO! GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FOOD & SERVICE. JASON OUR WAITER WAS COURTEOUS, FUN AND VERY ATTENTIVE. MY COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF ALSO. VERY ENJOYABLE EVENING!\r more

Tons of food 5/22/2012

While the new salad bar was definitely larger than most, the amount of food on a dinner plate leaves little to no room for any salad if you want to enjoy the appetizers, main dish and amazing desserts. more

Great Birthday Meal 5/17/2012

Although the free entree brought me and my wife to this restaurant to celebrate my Birthday, we definitely plan to return. The service was outstanding and friendly. They even substituted the higher priced entree as my B-day gift. The meals were tasty and prepared to perfection. We can't wait to return to try some of the other menu items. more

Will return 4/4/2012

Everything was nice. The service was good and the food was wonderful. It's important that the food is hot and fixed as I ordered it. I will go back to the Twisted Fork!! more

Good food, fair prices 2/25/2012

We liked the other restaurants that the group owns and bought a Living Social Deal so decided to try it out. The most important part--the food--was good. There were little things that made it bad. They ran out of high chairs so it was annoying having to deal with our child in a high chair. The waitress was nice but did little things weird--such as giving our desserts to go when I said I wanted mine there (while my wife asked for hers to go). Even with the $15 discount, it was not that inexpensive. The food was good but I don't think we will go back. more

Unprofessional, Rude Manager 7/7/2011

I went to try Twisted Fork tonight, and the manager, Diedre Bishop, was the person who seated us. As she seated us, she apologized under her breath saying that she was trying to get us as far away from a table with a screaming toddler. I said that I didn't want to sit four tables away from the party with the screaming kid... and I politely asked if there were somewhere else in the restaurant we could sit. Ms. Bishop stated that there were parties with children all over the restaurant including the bar area. I asked if I could look around. She said yes. Sure enough, it looked more like an episode of ""Toddlers and Tiaras"" then it did a restaurant. I asked Ms. Bishop why they didn't try to seat families with small children on one side of the restaurant, in order to give other partrons a quieter, more adult atmosphere. That is when Ms. Biship's tone changed, and she started yelling at me. She took a very defensive tone stating that the restaurant seats children and that I was the one with the problem for not being willing to sit next to a squalling tot. Ms. Bishop and your management team - The fact is that any partron can walk into your restaurant and for any reason decide that they do not want to stay. It is not a personal affront or attack on you. Your attitude and tone were very unprofessional and inappropriate. A simple apology that you did not have a table in a quiet location was all that was needed. I didn't need the rest of your attitude and rudeness, nor to I care to debate the merits of your seating policies and procedures. I simply made a suggestion that a change in your seating practices might be advantageous for your partons who want a quieter atmosphere as well as for your restaurant, as you will make more money if you don't have patrons walking out as soon as they arrive. I was shocked when I asked to speak to the manager to find out that you were the manager. I've worked a lot of customer service jobs in my life including a lot of work in hospitality. Your unprofessional response was totally unacceptable. I do not recommend this restaurant, simply based on the way I was treated by the manager. more

not good at all :-( 7/3/2011

I would actually rate this a zero if i could. Due to the economy by husband and I don't eat our much but on Saturday we decided to do something fun and go to the mall and then grab lunch. We should have just gone home for lunch! The service was poor. We were suppose to have salad bar but were never given plates and could not find our waiter to ask for them. Our food arrived (we both ordered the special of the day) and my crab cake wrap was very ""fishy"" smelling and my husbands pork loin stuffed with apples was so dry and tastless he almost could not finish it but he did because the ""special"" cost $18.99!!!. On top of everything it took almost an hour for us to get our food. The manager offered us dessert free because of the mix up with the salad bar and we decided to take it home because we were there so long and later in the day i tried the cherry pie and took one bite and quickly spit it out. The filling of the pie was almost like Jello and very few cherries at all. it was awful and for over $40 for lunch it was so very dissapointing and we will not go back!!!! more

Disappointed 12/29/2010

I just took my son and daughter-in-law to Twisted Fork for our second dinner there. I'm from California and I like to take them out to dinner the night before I return home. The first visit was a great experience, so I was looking forward to the same. Unfortunately, we were seated in an area where the only server was overseeing a party of 11 people. Basically, we had terrible service. The host took our dinner orders and helped serve us. But on the whole, we were ignored, never were given the option to request a basket of bread, no water refills and had to wait for our check. Finally I had to get up and go request containers to take our leftovers with us. For the amount of money I just paid, I will not be going back. When I return to Raleigh for my next visit in a couple months, our goodbye dinner will be back at Macroni Grill. more

PIECE OF METAL IN STUFFED MUSHROOMS!-FIRST TIME THE LAST! 4/12/2010

My girlfriend had been wanting to try this place. She received a $50 Rocky Top gift card so we went on a monday for a try..to use the card along with another offer found on the internet. We ordered an appetizer of Stuffed Mushrooms...2 bites into the first one, I bit down on what appeared to be a staple..same shape and size..was later told by Manager Ben, it was a piece of metal off of a ""sifter""..sifter? with stuffed mushrooms? Next, we had unfortunately already placed our lunch order with the appetizer and were still starving (dispite the pain in the roof of my mouth)...when it finally arrived 15 minutes later..the bolognase was served with plain spaghetti, not the linguine advertised on the menu..and the seafood pasta...shrimp still clear and not even curled, they were so undercooked. For $10.99 each, to say the least, the food was a disappointment. Also we didn't feel the service was extraordinary, considering our table was 1 of 4 tables TOTAL being served at the time which was 1 oclock on a Monday. It also took the Manager an unusually long time to get back with us after the metal incident..our server returned 3 times to tell us he was coming soon. Just BAD/BAD/BAD\r Needless to say, FIRST TIME WILL BE THE LAST ! \r My mouth is still hurting ! Pros: BUY ONE GET ONE MONDAYS Cons: FOOD/SERVICE/PRICES/NO VALUE AND BE CAREFUL more
