Twinkle Dentist

My daughter has been Dr Agrait's patient for over 2 years. On the last checkup she found some cavities. Like she always does, Dr Agrait took the time to explain to me how she will fix the cavities and the need of laughing gas because of my child's age and behavior. When we returned for the first sedation appointment, Lena reminded me that my daughter will go in by herself but if she asks for me or cries, moves etc (if they need me), they will bring me in the treatment room to help. To my surprise, my daughter behaved really well and they did not need me. Two weeks later we came for the second sedation visit but that day my daughter did not cooperate. They brought me in the room and I had to hold my daughter's hands. While they were working, I was thinking to myself how they can do this all day long? Crying children, tiny mouth, drill on tiny teeth?! This is tough! And I can't begin to imagine dealing with parents that do not want to follow rules! I am so grateful and lucky to have found them. Such a happy, caring, warm, friendly, honest.......professional team. I have 2 friends who I referred to Twinkle Dentist (whom their children also needed cavities to be fixed) that every time I see them don't stop thanking me for telling them about Dr Agrait. Their children love going to Twinkle although they've had a lot of work done. Its definitely a gem in Manhattan. I am writing this review today because my 5 y/o daughter just asked me when are we going back to the dentist?!?!?!!!!! I couldn't believe it given that the last time we were there she cried. That made me realized my daughter really likes them. IF YOU WANT THE BEST FOR YOUR CHILD, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! You will be thanking me like my friends :) more

Don't fall for the front. I did!! It is beautiful there, the office veneer and the office staff and doctor seem lovely on the outside but it runs cold if not borderline criminal from there. Please trust me I do not trash establishments however I have to warn my parent peeps to steer clear of this horrible office and dentist. The first office visit was a dream. They put on an excellent song and dance show to appear so loving and open but when real work needs to be accomplished on your child watch out. They essentially locked me out of the area where my kid was being treated and when I wanted to have a conversation with the dentist... she and her breast implants refused to have a conversation with me before or after the treatment. What kind of crap is that? Literally would not talk to me?? Beyond beyond unprofessional. I am singing from the roof tops DO NOT GO TO DR. EMILLE AGRAIT. I should have known better. Many dentists taking insurance are such scam artists. I really wanted to feel good here. It was a nightmare. All the kind reviews are likely from folks who only went for a cleaning and initial visit.
