I live in Midtown Manor. I would never recomment this place. I have lived here for almost a 1 year and have trouble with them every month. Every month something is going wrong or hasnt been fixed properly. With in the first 4 months I had to change my dishwasher out 3 times. Everytime something has to be fixed instead of them fixing since it is part of there job and they never fixed it and it is my move in report I have gotten 2 bills with no communication stating that I was getting billed from anyone. they are slow at fixing anything. This is not the first apartment complex I have ever moved into and from this experience it will be the last! Nothing was cleaned at all when we moved out. Oh and dont put your rent in the slot box always put it in their hands and ask for a receipt or they will say you have turned it in on the 6th when you clearly put it in the box on the 5th. Lastly the place looks nice on the outside and in side but everything is poorly made. I can hear and smell EVERYTHING that neighbors are cooking or burning downstairs, behind me, and beside me. I had a horrible cat smell from my neighbors and they never did anything to fix it except ask me to spray and pay more money out of my pocket for their inconvenience. Lastly they have BED BUGS! It is a very filthy old apartment complex and they rarely spray or check the units before you enter! Beware of these people because all you will be is a dollar sign and a paycheck. There is no personality at all. They were extremely nice when we were trying to find an apartment, but after that it was extra hidden fees left and right. more

I moved to B/CS from out of state in the fall of 2011 to be closer to my daughter. Twin City Properties made that transition smooth and easy. They did a great job of finding out my needs and making sure the property was the right fit in both amenities and price range. I was happy to learn that they only manage thier own properties and was surprised to find out that they had hundreds to choose from. I have rented before from management companies that are a go between the owner and myself. There was a big disconnect in those cases since the management companies didn't really care (it's not their property) and the owner could hide from out of town. Twin City Properties has also been very responsive to maintenance calls. I've had a few issues come up that they dealt with immediately and to my satisfaction. I can't say enough good things about them. I give them two thumbs up!!! more

I have lived with my family at Twin City Properties for the last 2 1/2 Years and I LOVE IT! They have always treated us like we were the most important tenant they have ever had! Maintenance was always there when I needed them. I would go months without ever talking to anyone in the office and I would see Doug and he would instantly know my name! It was great! more

I had a great experience. In fact, I rented from them twice (in two seperate duplexes) and my brother rented from them once a few years later. Both places I had were great. Nice, clean, relatively inexpensive...no maintenance issues...a back yeard with a fence. I liked it. more

would much rather live in a van... 8/24/2011

TCP is a disgrace in professionalism and overall ethics. Anyone looking for an affordable place to live, go ahead and spend a little bit extra and look elsewhere! Many of TCP's properties may look nice from the outside, it may even look good on the inside, but its all a cover-up...you can put lipstick on a pig, but its still a pig. more

Communication is the key! 8/20/2011

I'm Doug Pederson, the owner of Twin City Properties Mgmt., Inc. and I would like to encourage any of our residents, past and present, to contact me direct at 979-764-RENT if you have any concerns or dissappointments with our service. We shoot pictures of every one of our move outs and keep them on file for your protection and ours. Please contact me if I can answer any questions or improve our customer service. Thank you. more

Terrible Management 3/28/2010

I live in Sonoma Terrace and I can't wait until my lease expires. When Jerolyn owned it, it was fantastic--she took what happened in her apartment complex personally and truly cared about her residents. She lived on-site, worked to create responsibility in the residents to take good care of our home, and was always firm but fair. Now that TCP has taken over, it has devolved into what its reputation has always been. There is always trash in the common areas, the laundry room trash can is never emptied, I got attacked by three guys in front of my own apartment, and there is no personal touch. I am just a number paying rent to a faraway place. If you are moving to Bryan/College Station, avoid ALL Twin City Properties at ANY cost. Pros: They exist. Cons: Everything more

HORRIBLE...stay away! 8/13/2009

Glad to be out of there. Pros: fast maintenance Cons: everything else! more

Do Not Rent from this Company 4/30/2009

These people are crooks, or at least that's how it feels. When you move out, expect to never see a penny of your deposit, in fact they will send you a bill for damages that you didn't do. If you have to rent from them, take pictures of EVERY little thing before you move in and right before you move out. Make a very through list of anything that is not pristine and make sure you keep a copy. Also, they rarely have anything actually fixed - they just patch it up. Expect high electric bills because all their air conditioning units are old and they will not replace them (this happened to other people besides myself). I'm sure there are decent people out there to rent from, however this company is not one of them. Pros: They are fast at sending a service person Cons: They will not work with you at all more
