Twelve Corners Day Care Center

My son attended 12 Corners Daycare from infancy until he went to kindergarten. Even three years later, I think about the people at 12 Corners often, and what an awesome preparation they gave him for school and life in general! They taught all the important ""academics"" - letters and colors and numbers - but just as important, they taught him games, songs, rhymes, outdoor and muscle room activities, manners, etc. etc. etc. And all in a fun, professional, loving, supportive and kind environment. Each and every caregiver there was special. I can't say enough about what an awesome experience our family had at 12 Corners. more

We have had a great experience with Twelve Corners. The office staff responds to concerns immediately and has resolved any issues we have had. Our daughter loves going down the slide in the “muscle room” and loves all of her teachers. She is also learning songs, counting, and ABC’s there in addition to what we teach her at home. more

I absolutely could never have another place that I would ever want to send my son, Jason. He loves his class, teachers, and all of his friends at daycare. It is absolutely worry free and comfortable for me when I am at work. They do more for my son than I think a small home daycare could provide. Any naughty behavior reports are accompanied with apologies from the staff, even though my son is responsible for his own actions. We have a very personal relationship with everyone at the center. When I am struggling with personal matters, the staff is extremely flexible and understanding. If I could pay more, I absolutely would because the ladies at Twelve Corners are there to put their heart in soul into caring for our children. They deserve much more than the weekly rate. Both of my children have been at Twelve Corners Day Care since infancy. From the Infant Room to the Pre-Kindergarten class I have been impressed with the care and education my children have received. \r Every day they come home with new knowledge and it is obvious that the staff fosters their ever growing curiosity and help instill knowledge that will serve as a solid foundation as the start their formal education.\r All of the staff treat the children with compassion and respect their individuality with providing a safe environment for them to play and learn. The administration is very dedicated to ensuring the continued excellence of the center and would recommend them without reservation as they have made the difficult task of leaving my children easier knowing that they are in excellent hands. more

I have three children ages 4, 2, and 6 months and they are all enrolled in Twelve Corners. We started attending Twelve Corners when my first child was 6 weeks old. Since then we have felt like part of the Twelve Corners family and could not be happier with the care our children recieve. Not only are the costs reasonable compared to other centers around, but they provide nutritious meals, diapers, wipes, and formula if you so desire. My children love going to daycare every day and sometimes they do not even want to leave at the end of the day! Every teacher and staff member have been nothing but kind, caring and professional.My 2 and 4 year old come home every evening with stories about what they have learned that day or what fun activities they had done. I could not reccommend this center more, it truly is a wonderful establishment more

The negative reviews about this daycare were written by a former employee who was FIRED for sleeping on the job. She was already on 'probation' with the center at the time and obviously has an ax to grind. Both my children when here and I have nothing but praise on how they care for the children and train their staff. This is also a non-profit daycare which means they keep costs as low as you will find anywhere in Rochester. more

FAMILY - that word sums up my thoughts on this daycare. I have two children that attend this daycare - both of them since 3 months old, and my oldest is now almost 4. The teachers are always respectful and genuinely care about my children. They are always willing to help me with anything that I may need. My children love going to daycare and look forward to seeing their friends. There are many fun events that take place. For example PJ days, spring fling parties, a halloween open house,and family picnics and many more. There are also classes children can take like dance class and computer class. This center has satisfied everything that I would look for in a center. more

My daughter has attended Twelve Corners since she was 3 months old. I have been impressed at how much the staff and teachers really wanted to get to know my daughter and her likes and dislikes. Now at three years of age, she is excited to go to see her friends everyday and has made her first best friend at the Center.\r \r Her preschool experience has been wonderful and I have been excited with her progress on letters and numbers. She even surprised us one day with saying her numbers in German and Spanish!\r \r The muscle room or gym that the Center has in as extra bonus for those days when it is too cold to go outside. My daughter also takes a dance class while at day care which she loves and saves me the time of taking her after work or on a Saturday.\r \r I have nothing but good things to say! more

The quality of care our daughter recieves is well above and beyond my espectations. The staff is wonderful, caring, and attentive to both the child's and parent's needs. more

well where do i begin,this daycare is unbelievable when the children go to the muscleroom for their naps the teachers cover their heads and they practicley lay on them and these women arn t small their suppose to be patting their backs and they wack them very hard the food they serve their is always exspired they yell at the children instead of talking to them children should nt be yelled at they call them by pet names instead of their own names the women sit in the muscleroom while there napping and talk about sex vulgar sex at that the teachers in the infant room are very rough with the babies the whip them around like their rag dolls and if they don t want to eat they shove it down their throat i saw this first hand but whenever you tell the directer she blow s everything off its all about getting the money they could care less a bout the children and there well being and for being a eacher they don t teach anything the preschool classrooms are suppose to be getting them ready for kindergaurden ya thats a joke they sit around and gossip all day the kids arn t learning anything i would never bring your children to this daycare its not a good choice when they know state is coming they will do everything perfectley as soon as they walk out the door their right back to doing all the wrong things well good luck finding the right daycare just stay away from this one oh and they allow people to go on their lunch breaks and drink acohlol and then come back and watch the children unbelievable the directer will cover up anything just to keep things running even if its against state rules Pros: null Cons: null more

I was very nervous about having my first child starting full time daycare at six weeks old but once I met the staff at Twelve Corners I was put at ease immediately. These ladies have been taking care of children for 20+ years and it shows! Pros: null Cons: null more

Very reasonable prices. Diapers and wipes are provided for infants/toddlers. The center also has a full kitchen and cooks lunch and snacks. The teachers are all trained well above and beyond what NYS requires and you get the feeling they really care about the kids here. The office staff folllow all NYS guidelines for safety, nutrition, and reporting anything and everything to parents. Parents are welcome to stop-in anytime to check on kids! Your children are not just watched - they spend a good portion of the day learning the required skills to enter school. Both full-time and part-time are offered. Both of my children attended this daycare and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The building is secured with a card-swipe security system and surveillance cameras at the doors. There is a large indoor playroom (gym) and three outdoor fenced-in playgrounds with swings, slides, playhouses, water tables, and more. Twelve Corners Day care center has a wonderful staff of teachers. They are dedicated to making your childs stay at daycare an enjoyable one. I also like this center because I know my kids are safe here. They have a top of the line security system and you can only get into the center by card access. They provide care from 6-6pm and accommodate parents anyway they can. more
