The food was o.k... nothing to get excited about . If they gave you more options on the menu it would have helped. Overall it was o.k.

Tutta Pasta is a Pasta Dream 3/5/2009

What a wonderful restaurant! My girlfriend and I had a very enjoyable time at Tutta Pasta. Great service, phenominal dishes. I was very glad we choose to dine here. We look forward to coming back with guests, and the owner was very nice! He personally welcomed us and made us feel special, which was really cool. Try the Tutta Pasta Tre-Colori, very tasty. My girlfriend had the Veal Francese and she was pleased with the dish, which can be hard sometimes with her, haha. A+ for Tutta Pasta! Pros: Italian Dishes, Service, Atmoshpere, Owner was Nice Cons: none at all more

Staple in PS 3/2/2009

Great Italian and great prices. I am not too sure how long they have been there but this is a great neighborhood italian place. The pasta are spot-on and the prices even better. I haven't been there for lunch but I have heard it is very good. Pros: good prices more

Great Italian 2/26/2009

I come out to eat in BK once a month to try out different restaurants with my sister. We came to eat here on Sunday night for dinner. I had the lasagna...it seems that that is really the only thing that i get nowadays...which is fine. ANYWAYS...the lasagna was terriific. It is shocking how some places can really screw that up so i was very happy. I also had some great red wine there as well. The prices are RIDICULOUSLY cheap. Great restaurant. Def recommend. Pros: Great Lasagna Cons: i dont live in BK more

Best Italian Food in Park Slope 2/4/2009

Love it at Tutta Pasta. I enjoy evry dish that I order when I come to visit. The food is exceptional, the service is great, and the owner is always present to make sure all my needs are met. Try the Veal, its very tasty, and the appetizers are great too! I have a different one every time I dine at Tutta Pasta. One day I might do catering when the opportunity presents itself. Also, during the summer the have live music which is really cool. 2 Thumbs Up for Tutta! Pros: Food, Service, Ambiance, Owner is always present more

Worst Dining Experience of My Life 10/6/2008

This restaurant stinks with a capital "S". I attended a Confirmation dinner for my nephew on 10/5/08. The dinner was in the back room. There were fifty people, and two female servers. The appetizers of fried calamari, mozzarella and tomato, and stuffed mushrooms were brought out sparingly. The dopey server brought out 6 mushrooms and served them to a group of 8 people. We asked for bread several times. When asked why we could not get another serving of mozzarella, another server said "The pasta's almost ready." When asked what "Veal Tutta Pasta" is, she advised "You know - it's veal." I was waiting for the goofball with the camera to pop out and exclaim that we were all punk'd. No refills on drinks were offered, and dirty stoneware simply piled up unnoticed. To top it off, the Napoleon cake dessert was served and it was icy inside. It was obviously frozen and not given enough time to thaw. I was embarrassed for my brother and his wife, but I traveled 40 miles to deal with the shittiest service I have ever received. I would not go back to this restaurant on a free invitation. It stinks, and in this economy, to spend hard earned money on crappy food and incompetent service is that much more of a disappointment. The manager and the chef both have to go. Yeah, I said it - you know where to find me, guys. Stop serving the already over-charged people of Park Slope so much money for your garbage food and incompetent service. Tell me what you think. It really gets no stars, but the review mode needs me to put one. Pros: None Cons: Too many to list more

AN INSULT TO ITALIAN FOOD AND THE RESTAURANT BUSINESS 10/5/2008

THIS PLACE WAS THE BIGGEST JOKE FOR ITALIAN FOOD. IF YOU' RE A BORN AND RAISED NEW YORKER, YOU KNOW GREAT ITALIAN FOOD. THIS PLACE IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO IT. ANYONE CAN OPEN UP A CAN OF TOMATO PUREE, BOIL PASTA AND MELT CHEESE. IT'S REAL EASY TO USE A PANNINI PRESS TO MAKE A PIZZA AND THEY STILL UNDERCOOKED THE PIZZA. UNBELIEVABLE!! THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A SELF SERVE RESTURANT THE WAY THE SERVICE IS. THE WAITRESS WAS CONFUSED ABOUT THE MENU AND WAS CONSTANTLY GETTING THE OWNERS APPROVAL EVEN TO GET MORE BREAD ON THE TABLE. THE FOOD AND SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE OVERALL!!!!!! I WILL NEVER GO BACK AND DO NOT SUGGEST THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL. NOT EVEN THE YUPPIES IN THE SLOPE DESERVE THIS ABUSE. THIS PLACE DOESN'T EVEN DESERVE ONE STAR BUT IT WON'T LET ME POST THE REVIEW. THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE THIS PLACE A GREAT REVIEW MUST HAVE EATEN CHEF BOYARDEE AND PIZZA HUT THERE WHOLE LIFE. CIAO!!!! Editorial review from GrubHub 9/29/2008

Pizza was really gross. It was like Elio's but worse. Pasta was weird. Meat not well balanced. Carbonara - more like Carbo-HORROR. Cannoli tasted like soap. Apple thing was OK. more

Shame On New Ownership 8/26/2008

Shame on the new owners. Tutta Pasta used to be a perfectly fine neighborhood joint. It was never known for its ambience, but it consistently delivered good, hearty, homemade Italian food. The new owners should be ASHAMED. Passing off ground beef mixed with vodka sauce as 'bolognese,' serving mushy boiled chicken and canned minestrone soup? We will never order from here again. Pros: would not recommend this place since new owners took over. Cons: bad food. more

Great Place to Go for Horrible Service and Unremarkable Fare 3/15/2008

Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon around 2 pm. There were two tables of patrons in the restaurant other than us. Things were bad from the beginning... we ordered two Diet Cokes and a Sprite and got two Sprites and a Diet Coke, and it took about ten minutes for the waiter actually to take our order. We ordered a hot antipasti appetizer to split, and it took 25 minutes to get to our table. On top of that, they also brought us a plate of bruschetta, which we thought may have been part of the antipasti. However, the waiter came, looked at the plate (of which we'd eaten one piece), and said "Oh, I'm sorry, that wasn't yours." And he took it away off our table! After that, it took another 25 minutes before we got our meals, which very obviously had been sitting in the kitchen for a while, as the sauces had started to congeal. The food was very average. I had the artichoke fettucine, which was made with canned artichokes, and I don't know if the pasta was fresh -- it didn't have the same bite to it that fresh pasta normally does, but that could have been because it was overcooked, too; it also was completely stuck together so that it made it quite a challenge to twirl. When we asked the waiter if there was a problem with the kitchen, he looked at us like we were asking him for a kidney and actually seemed *surprised* that we would think that. We've been to Tutta Pasta in the past, and had a nice time, but I can guarantee you that we'll never return again. I wonder if they've changed ownership. I certainly wish that I'd seen the other reviews before we chose to go there! more

Tutta Pasta in Your Pants 2/5/2008

Was I able to read citysearch last night when I was hungry and in the mood for Italian food, ""no"".But you better believe that if I had, I would have never came to this pathetic excuse for an Italian restaurant. The food was DISGUSTING, my salad had canned shrimps ,with old cheese ( still not sure what kind) and it was saturated in some horrible lemon dressing, oh yes and if you don't believe how bad the food sensibilty is in this place, when we ordered the eggplant rollatini , guess what was inside , creamed spinach! The service was okay if you don't mind waving your hand around like a maniac trying to get someone's attention, what ever happened to ""would you like some more water"", 'another drink"" , ""dessert menu""? Service is not a big issue ( they also got our order wrong), but the food was the worst ITALIAN food in BROOKLYN, its hard to say , but this place just makes you Tutta Pasta in Your Pants! Cons: Food and Service more
