People come from many miles away to eat at Tuffy's and there's usually a big crowd there any night of the week. Tuffy's is known for its huge, fluffy pies, with meringue about half-a-foot high; they also have delicious yeast rolls. Good ole Southern cooking is mainly what Tuffy's is all about. They serve fried catfish and shrimp dinners, chicken-fried steak, chicken, prime rib, and Southern-style vegetables. Bluegrass bands play there each week, and even though it's usually crowded, long waits are not typical.
