Trop Aquarium

Bought over $200 worth of fish, and one of the fish died with in a couple days. Brought the fish back expecting to trade it out for a healthy fish (do to there 7 day guarentee)instead was greeted with an additude, and less than helpfull staff. I have 14 other fish in my aquarium that are just fine, this one was sick from the day i go it (not eating, and skinny) I was told by an employee that ""He wouldnt buy a fish if it wasnt eating."" Like i sit there and watch the fish for two hours and see if it eats before i buy it. Are you kidding me!! They may have a large selection but the service, and quality of the fish are poor! I will stick with the normal fish store i have been using for year to buy my fish! If I had a fish die two or three days after I bought it, they would credit the money towards a replacement fish with no questions asked. Just good bussiness practices. Do not buy from here! Bought $200 dollars worth of fish and they wiped out my entire tank. Turns out their fish has some sort of fungus and now i'm having to nurse my pleco in a separate tank. I called them about the issue and they wouldnt do anything about it. I only had the fish for 3 days. They accused us of having toxic water. more

went in to purchase a tank and the staff (two guys) were trading fish for drugs right in front of me while the owner was on her computer and would not even look up to help me when i went to the counter. never experienced anything like this before. i guess thats why the price of the tank set up kept changing prices everytime the owner stepped close by. your employees are ripping you and your customers off. if you would get off the computer and help your customers, you might have a clue that your employees are on drugs and openly talking about trading drugs for your fish and changing prices on cash purchases which they are pocketing. taking my bussiness elsewhere. got the same setup for $180 less 10 minutes away more

We just purchased an aquarium at this store. We spent quite a bit of money and the tubes and plastic fittings connecting the tank to the wetdry filter and sump are breaking after only having it set up for 2 days. We have had to run to home depot for replacement parts. I am not very happy about the quality of the equipment. more

I always shop at Trop Aquarium,Lisa and the staff are great,i moved was gone 5 yrs, when i moved back, i stopped in they actually remembered my name. WOW! . this fish store has always been a huge help for me, i can always go there and know that they will have what i want and more. they have the coolest variety of saltwater and freshwater fish i have almost ever seen- large fish, small fish, colorful fish, saltwater or fresh, etc. They knew how to keep the tanks clean and keep the fish healthy. Their knowledge on the tanks, equipment, and fish is great. The only bad is they are a LITTLE pricey, but its worth it 100% Pros: large variety of fish, Cons: little pricey more
