Went in to sell 3 slabbed (professionally graded) coins. The guy behind the counter acted like he was doing me a favor by getting out one reference (the grey sheet) and acted as if that were the only means to value a coin. I mentioned eBay and was told that those are not realistic prices. The values he presented were much lower than I anticipated-way lower-almost laughable. Much less than I paid 15 years ago? Not the way to impress and he would not negotiate any price. Won't be going back any time soon which is too bad since I have quite a few coins. With customer service like it's a wonder they are still in business! more

Tri-City Vault 7/8/2005

I was going through my dads old coin collection and we found a couple of really rare coins. we decided that we would take the to Tri-City Vault because we heard that they buy old coins from people. we came in with 25 coins and left with a little over 200 dollars. We decided to take the rest of the coins down there to see how much we could get and from those we got another 75 dollars. Now anytime we come across a rare coin we always go to Tri-City Vault because we know that we will get what the coins are worth. more
