This is what they said. In my option, they are a piece of, well fill in the blank. I am a general contractor and will never use them. more

Sales 2/23/2016

These sales men show up at my house every few weeks I ask them to see business lisence and they hand me a flyer . Wa attorney general says they must have on person to sale door to door. Call the cops and get them off the streets. more

Used car salesman tactics. 7/28/2015

Though the In Home Consultant was informative he was also pushing their in house financing. He also tried to discredit a competitor by telling me they weren't certified to install GAF products when they are indeed certified. I don't like slimy salesmen. more

Pressure sales 6/17/2015

I agree, they kept calling asking if married and for me to be on time. I was, they werent, even though office lady insisted there was somebody in my driveway with me. What a bi#!! Bad people. more

High Pressure Sales Pitch 8/7/2013

A Tristate sales person knocked on my door one day to ask about giving a free bid for my roof. I accepted and was told that in a few minutes a person would call to set up an appointment. When they called, they informed me that both my wife and I would have to be present when they came to make a bid. I told them my wife was a very busy person and there was no reason that she had to be present. They said we both had to be present. When I asked why they gave me a run around that they are selling not just a roof but a "system", what ever that means. This immediately sent up a red flag. The only reason I could think of why it would be a requirement to have both spouses present is that it would be a high pressure sales pitch trying to get you to sign up for the services. I have never heard of a legitimate company "requiring" both spouses to be present for a bid on a job. Be VERY VERY cautious with this company. Needless to say, I did not have them come over for a bid. more

What a estimate 6/7/2013

Came to my house for estimate wanted 15to20k for a roof replacement that should cost 6k to8k told salesman he is out of his mind he got pissed and left comparable homes in my hood roofs go 6to8k wtf..scam artists buyer beware!!! more

Pushy sales person explained at length about why they were the absolute best at everything, gave a verbal price at least three times higher than other written estimates from reputable roofers, and would not provide a written estimate (and still hasn't). Appeared to be trying to take advantage of a female. I was annoyed that they called three times and wanted to talk with me personally (each time) to confirm, yet again, an estimate appointment. Deliberately asked if I had a spouse. more

Elderly couple changed their minds, yet company will not simply return their deposit! 1/16/2013

A Sales Rep with the company coerced an elderly couple into signing a contract for the wrong type of roof for their house, and then rewrote a second contract for a more expensive product. The couple asked to have their deposit back from their initial agreement, as they had changed their minds at that point, yet the company refused to do so, even after the wife had passed away. They are now suing the widower, during his time of grief, for the full amount on a job that will never be completed. I hope the owners of the company are able to sleep soundly at night, knowing that they are taking advantage of vulnerable consumers using bullying tactics. I guess tough times call for desperate measures. more

Friendly, courteous, professional and knowledgeable people working for Tri State making sure the job is done right. I will definitely use Tri State on my next project as well as refer them to others.
