Cross country train tour. Had safe travels going and returning. Not every thing in print makes a golden experience.Tours lacked in quality and time allotted. No tour as stated in
print was provided for The Grand Canyon. Once inside the entrance and off the bus, when asked the group leaders; Where
is the tour guide?...I WAS TOLD AMIST HAND AND FLAGGING ARM MOVEMENTS TO JUST GO ON THE PATH.LIKE, what path? REALLY?
NO PLANNED TOUR THAT DAY.THE GROUP LEADER did not explain eating arrangements. I was LEFT wondering
around looking for the designated place to eat, while in Las Vegas.Only to find out I needed a required wrist band for
entry that would be honored the following morning. No plan was made aware to me about how, when, where, who was going
to give me the wrist band.So had to search out a group leader for a wrist band.Lots of hick ups and burps along
the journey due to lack of effective relaying information. But, once I figured out what to do and where to go and got
over the confused situation, I was good to go and eagerly anticipated the next city with great expectations. HOWEVER, I
did not expect to have my bubble of a good city tour or hotel experience be burst another time and for the rest of
the trip. More insight needs to be in place concerning people skills, providing quality tours, effective ways to get information to everyone, not just a select few who happen to over hear a conversation and I happen to run into someone and hear their version, better organization skills for luggage handling and easy color code tags for each designated bus.Just a little fore thought and plain good ole common sense goes a long way. Over 30 years experience, should have taught this agency something on how to make things run smoothly. Based on my posted
pictures on Facebook, folks want to take the cross country train tour. So, there is always hope in the future for a wonderfully planned and carried out cross country train tour with Travel At It's Finest.
