Personal training on a whole new level 1/26/2008

As an avid runner who enjoys exercising outdoors, I?ve never been very enthusiastic about gyms or personal trainers. However when I tried a personal training session at Transform based on a recommendation from a friend, I was hooked! Their style of training, focused on building core body strength using ?super slow? high intensity routines really works. I find it a great complement to my regular cardio workouts and feel better than I have in a long time. This is not a place for ?gym bunnies? looking for a ?scene? or people who want to look like Schwarzenegger. But if you want to make your body stronger, more toned, and more flexible as well as promote a greater sense of health and well-being, then you should try Transform. Ana and her team offer highly personalized service and nothing but positive attitudes and encouragement. All the trainers have professional backgrounds in nutrition, physical therapy, nursing, etc. and they really know what they are doing. The quiet intimate environment feels almost Zen-like. And for people like me with unpredictable schedules, they are extremely flexible. Personal training on a whole new level and highly recommended! more

Simply the Best 12/10/2007

The workouts I do at transform fitness are by far my favorite. As an excercise-aholic, and someone who has spent their life with different trainers, gyms, and classes, I can honestly say that nothing changed my body like the Superslow method. The gym itself is pristine, very zen, with artwork and flowers. All the trainers are down to earth, and want you to LEARN about fitness. And, how can you go wrong when a session lasts 30 minutes and you can go in your work clothes! more

Best Trainer NYC and Best Workout Facility 11/19/2007

This has been the BEST TRAINER experience in NYC I have ever had! Over the last 24 years I have worked with several trainers for a few weeks at a time at various sports clubs throughout NYC. I hate gyms and the whole experience. Finding myself unable to committ beyond one or two months of training. This is the first time in my life I find myself committed to my twice a week workout with my trainer Ana Steitz at Transform Fitness. I celebrated the one year anniversary of my committment to the new me! At 44, I was beginning to feel a little heavy and frail. I was introduced to my wonderful trainer at Transform thru a friend. My friend convinced me to buy a 10 session package which I did. One year later, I lost 16 lbs and look better in my underwear today than I did at 20!! I love telling people that! But it's true!!! I went from a 34 inch waist to a 31 inch waist! My family, my friends do not recognize me! I don't recognize myself!! What a great feeling to look s*xy again at my age. This private studio is a gem! My office is in midtown manhattan which makes it even easier to sneak off for 30 minutes during lunch for my workout. These power workouts are incredibly effective. It is remarkable to believe that I look the way that I do without breaking out into a sweat. It's a completely different way of working out from what I was accustomed to. I plan on buying packages this holiday season to give to 3 friends I would love see transform themselves. Ana! I owe you my life as I know it today! Thank you for transforming me into a conscious, super fit, younger healthy man! I look fabulous and feel s*xy thanks to you and the crew at Transform! My love life has improved dramatically! The feedback I get from loved ones inspires me to move forward! I look forward to another year with Transform. I can highly recommend this facility, the trainers, the experience and the outcome. My experience is incredible with Transform fitness. I must say that I did not believe it until I saw a friend of mine who mentioned Tranform Fitness before and she looked fantastic!!! What a motivation! Then I met the team and I fell in love with them! I saw the place so cozy and welcoming! more

I cant recommend Transform Fitness enough. THey (all the trainers and owners) are like a little family and they bring that kind of care and strategy to every level of a clients health . The weight training is based on super slow tecnique and will kicked my butt , in a good way. . These guys know what they are doing . Pros: quick, results oriented, calm environment , encouraged to connect with yourself. good location, towel service, nice people Cons: try to schedule in slow time so it does not get over booked when you're there more

I have also worked with just your everday athlete and even non-athletes!! Pros: Personal attention from experts. Very caring and commuicative. Cons: I have been quite happy here. more

I love Transform Fitness! It's an awesome workout. In only 30 minutes a week, the expert trainers are able to transform your body into a leaner, healthier, more fit body. The trainers create personalized programs that combine strength training and flexibility training. It?s great that the trainers cater the program to your individual needs and motivate you to improve in each session. It?s a very private, comfortable environment. If you are interested in losing inches around your waist, having your clothes look so much better on you, and looking and feeling fit, I highly recommend Transform Fitness. Transformed my view of exercise, with an intense exercise regime I GLADLY stick to. 9/24/2007

The workout is the most intense I have ever experienced, but I figure I can take anything in 2-3 minute stretches with the whole workout complete in 25-30 minutes. This is the first time I have ever stuck to an exercise regime, twice a week for 2 years now. It is also the first time in my life that I have had visible muscles (almost from the start). The trainers are the kind of people you want to see and the whole experience makes it enjoyable to work out -- despite the intensity of the exercise. After several years of near-debilitating back and neck pain, I have built up core strength that has helped keep me free of doctors and pain killers since shortly after I started at Transform. Guaranteed to see results 9/18/2007

I highly recommend Transform Fitness. The trainers are positive and motivating and the results are amazing. I lost inches on my waist and the difference in my core strength is unbelievable. It is definetely worth it! I had been running for years and wasn't seeing much of a difference in my body. I would go to weekly total body conditioning classes at local gyms and it seemed as though I had plateaued. Transform Fitness' technique is unique and after 2 months I had already noticed significant differences and was much more toned. more
