Let me start off by saying, I am a terrible dental patient!! I went to total dental care to get a long over due root canal...from the time of making the appointment, only had a 5 day wait for an appointment (as a new patient, that was pretty good in my opinion). Every staff member that I was greeted with, was very nice, and truly cared about making me feel comfortable. I met with the general dentist, who refereed me over to the endo...a few step's away, and he(the endo) completed my root canal right then and there. The most pain-free experience I have ever had!! They were clean, the wait was not bad, and I left there feeling great. They took time to answer all 10000 of my questions, with out me feeling like I was bothering them!! Will be taking my whole family there!!! more

I am unhappy with their unprofessional treatment. First, while watching TV while waiting for the dentist, the asst. comments that the person on the screen is ""so gay"", which was was meant as an insult. Someone should tell them it's no longer cool to be homophobic in public. Second, Dr. Martino seemed nice when I spoke to him about treatment and asked for antibiotics for an abscess. However, the following day, when I needed a painkiller, he refused to speak to me directly, so I had to get medical advice & pass messages through a receptionist. She told me his policy is to prescribe only 1 of 2 painkillers: Motrin, which does not work for me, and Vicodin, to which I am allergic. No matter how many times I tried to explain the Motrin isn't working and I'm still in pain, she kept insisting that was my only option, unless I wanted to come in for and drop $2000 for a root canal on a tooth I'm planning to having extracted once the infection goes away. (The ridiculousness of the conversation with the receptionist cannot be overstated.) Anyway, the upshot of the conversation was that the dentist wouldn't do anything help me, so not only did I have to live with the current abscess pain, but I was also supposed have the planned extractions with no pain relief afterward. Needless to say, I canceled my future appointments. That has left me in a position where, even though I do have some dental coverage, I am stuck running to the ER for pain relief and scrambling to find another dentist to do the work on my teeth. My father is a doctor, I know what it looks like to care about patients, and this isn't it. They do not care about care anything except your money. Do yourself a favor and find someone else. more

OK.My wife and i have been going there for almost 2 years. I wasn't happy from the beginning, but ended up going there anyways because family members and friends where going there too. To keep it short, here is what happened, hard time getting appointments, crowns and root canals that where done now have infections and consider this, they are very expensive. The biggest reason for choosing a new Dr, (WWW.751smilecom), was the day my wife was in excruciating pain and her face swelled up. That day was horrible experience. She needed to see the dentist asap!!!, the one who she had been going for over a year. To simply hear that she can not see him because off he insurance process. So we instead, we offer to pay cash, and still they would not let her see a doc.. Our Emergency and well being was not important to them. So if this is not a concern for you, don't look any further, call them and make an appointment for next month, hopefully you will get one. Pros: NEW TECHNOLOGY Cons: POOR MANAGEMENT more

i would recommended Total Dental Care to all my colleagues and friends. Not only is the office a warm environment and located in a very convenient area they are also incredibly professional, honest in their assessments and is always very comforting atmosphere.
