Best

I love the food and the service.

Worst

This was just ok, there was really no taste and they skimp on sauce. The crust tasted like cardboard-no flavor. Seriously, pizza hut or dominos is better than this. I guess if ...

finally. the best pizza ever 5/18/2009

I have been looking for a pizza place that just wow's me and I think I found it.\r \r got a flyer in the mail from Toscana and seeing that they were voted best pizza by Citysearch, i decided to give them a shot.\r \r I ordered the Milanese, cause I like meat. I am not a fan of onions, but forgot to say...""no onions"" but it comes with red onions, and you know what? fantastic!\r \r I also don't think pizza places are very good with hot wings. I think they make them just because everyone does. normally i think pizza joints make pretty nasty hot wings, but to test Toscana I ordered them, and they were great!\r \r I may just become a loyal fan of Toscana......I refuse to order anywhere else!!!\r \r oh and there pesto bread kicks butt, too!!!!! Pros: flavor...the sauce? the pesto bread? and even the hot wings! Cons: make sure they have your address correct! more

A real neighborhood and community restaurant! 1/23/2009

I am an event planner for a major hospital in the first hill community. I plan a party for over 1200 kids in the community during the holidays. It takes a lot of volunteer support to make this party a success. The volunteers work very hard to set up for the party and of course need a treat to fuel their energy levels. That's where Toscana Pizzeria comes in. Over the past 3 years, Toscana Pizzeria provides an icredible donation that feeds over 100 volunteers. I repeatedly receive compliments from the volunteers that the pizza is amazingly delicious! I want to thank the owner of Toscana Pizzeria for his incredible generosity and his act of giving back to the community we live in! Bravo!!! more

Delicious food and great customer service 10/16/2008

Want a light Pizza with a lot of taste, and want to go easy on your wallet ? This is THE place to go.\r If you like garlic in your food, you got to try out the Toscana Classic Pizza. It is my personal favorite.\r The combination of garlic sauce, chopped garlic, mushrooms, and red onions just makes every bite taste better than the one before it. So yes, there are usually no leftovers !\r I also recommend, the spicy chicken wings, they are simply delicious.\r The slightly dimmed corner lights, and the cool midsize themed ever changing paintings on the wall, give the pizzeria a warm and cozy feel.\r The guys at the counter are very friendly. You really get the feel of the family run business, from the high quality customer service and care.\r The whole experience has just always been great, so it definitely deserves 5 stars. I recommend it to all my family and friends, and I think you should check it out !!! Pros: food, service, ambiance Cons: really can't think of any more

You'll be hooked 9/25/2008

Toscana serves the best pizza in town. I usually drive all the way from Lynnwood to get my fix. The crust is amazing, the ingredients are fresh, and the selection is wide. Give it a try, you'll be hooked. And don't forget to try the chicken wings...yummy!!! more

This was just ok, there was really no taste and they skimp on sauce. The crust tasted like cardboard-no flavor. Seriously, pizza hut or dominos is better than this. I guess if you like flavorless pizza, give this a try! Pros: didn more

What happened ? 9/9/2008

I used to order for delivery all the time, but like another review mentioned, the QUALITY of the pizza went downhill ! New owners? Cutting costs? The two stars are for 2 reasons: The very nice young lady at the register and the fact that they will bring your pizza to the Summit Tavern next door. Pros: staff Cons: pizza quality (or rather lack of) more

Not what it once was 8/16/2008

Crust was too thin. Not enough sauce. Vegetables didnt tast fresh. Quality is not what it used to be. I will pay good money for good pizza but this time I paid good money for barely OK Pizza. more

Average pizza. Nothing special. Overpriced. 6/28/2008

Average pizza. Nothing special. Maybe Seattle just doesn't have good pizza. Not worth the close-to-$20 price. I am still in search of good Seattle pizza. Don't waste your time here. Pros: Cool neighborhood - Capitol Hill Cons: Overpriced pizza, not that great tasting for being voted ""the best"" more

Hot, fresh, friendly folks, veggie options, uncrowded. Calzone and pannini my favorites. 1/20/2008

I've lived nearby for 11 years and have grown fond of the delicious food and friendly service. Pizzas are great, but try something new - pannini and calzone are superb. Same family or group has run it for years, call ahead for pickup. Beers are available by bottle/can. All in all I LOVE Toscana and bet you will, too. more

Absolutely Delicious Pizza 1/18/2008

Awesome, non-greasy crust! 11/19/2007

I had the ""Bolognese"" pizza (I believe that's what it was). I'm usually pretty plain. Pepperoni and black olive, but this was a darn good pizza! It had sausage that was just spicey enough. The pepperoni was great and they made it without onions for me. My favorite part though was the fact that the crust wasn't all greasy on the bottom. And I didn't have to use a napkin to dab grease off the top! The staff is very friendly and it's always clean. They have a pretty wide delivery area as well. I can definitely see why they won the Best of Citysearch! Thanks Toscana!! Pros: NON- Greasy crust. Great service. Wide delivery area. Cons: Street parking. more

I don't understand 8/8/2007

I just did not experience the same pizza that all those single-review reviewers had. They couldn't be the cooks imaginary friends, could they? Pros: Coupons Cons: Still not worth it. more

The worst!!!!!!! 7/17/2007

What a MAJOR letdown!!!! My wife and I went to Toscana last friday after work. Not a sole in the place other than us. Seems like the waitresses were more concerned about kabitzing outside than taking our order. Finally after 20 minutes of waiting one of the waitresses came over to take our drink order.\r \r Soon after the drinks arrived, the waitress more or less threw down some silverware on the table (it was almost comical) and our medium Classic arrived. Just before starting to sample to pizza, my wife requested some water. The waitress proceeded to bring over a glass of warm water with no ice. Again, poor poor service.\r \r Yes the pizza was good and I'd rate it 8/10 but it certainly wasn't the best pizza I've had in Seattle. Also those who said it was inexpensive must have eaten at a different restaurant. \r \r Pros: Good pizza Cons: Worst service in town more

Yum!! 5/21/2007

I'm pretty picky about pizza but this place is great. I've gone back a few times now and haven't been disappointed. The prices and hours are excellent, and they deliver! more

Order the Veggie 4/20/2007

Yesterday for lunch we had pizza delivered at work. The pizza was delivered ontime and I ate a slice of the Veggie, Cheese and Pepperoni. Veggie was great! All of the toppings were fresh and had just the right amount. Next time, I'll have all veggies slices. more

All around a good experience 4/20/2007

I recently ordered delievery and it arrived on time. I tried a pizza from here a while back and agree with the review that their Toscana Classic is the pizza to try. more
