Toni & Guy

I have been going to Marguerite at Toni & Guy for my haircuts for 8 years - started with her when she was at Ingram Mall (they closed that location) and followed her to current location at La Cantera. I actually used to drive in from Corpus Christi before I moved to San Antonio!! She is a true professional - always listens to what I want and I am always happy with the results. She is friendly, but not one of those ""chatterboxes"" that makes my eyes glaze over - I always worry that the ""talkers"" are too busy talking to pay attention to the haircut. The colorists there are all great as well and it is a great location! more

I have naturally curly hair that has tortured my existence since I can remember. So, I am always looking for someone who has a talent for understanding curly hair.......I love Jerzey! She has her own beautiful curly locks and listens to what you want. She is also always ready with some suggestions, but only does what you and her agree on ahead of scissor time. I have also had color done there, and although I don't really have any complaints, I have been through two colorists due to what seems to be a high turnover rate. Eyebrow waxing has also gone well the two times I have gone there for that. I DO have a complaint with the receptionists. What airheads! I dread calling in for an appt., I am always out on hold for a lengthy amount of time and each receptionist acts like it is there first time using the computer system for booking an appt. more

Me and one of my bridesmaids were trying to pick a place to get our hair done for the wedding so we accepted this salon's invitation for a free consultation. Me and my bridesmaid got separated when we got there and then she had to leave. The ""most experienced"" hair stylist practiced a horrible updo on me that my 16 year old sister could have done better. She didn't listen to what I was asking for and charged me $70 for my bridesmaid's hair (which wasn't any better than mine). When we tried to contact the manager her receptionist told us ""she doesn't take any phone calls from people she doesn't know because of too many crazy customers calling her...""
