Over the years I have loved the flowers my husband has ordered for me from Tommy Lukes. That's why I chose Tommy Lukes when ordering flowers to be delivered to a colleague who had surgery. I collected the money from ten co-workers, ordered the flowers and scheduled them for delivery a few days after the surgery. About ten days later when I was emailing the colleague, I asked if she had received the flowers and she said, "What flowers?" I called Tommy Luke a few days later and found out they hadn't delivered the flowers. They offered to go ahead and deliver the flowers (now two weeks post-surgery) or refund my money. Had I not asked my colleague, I never would have known the flowers weren't delivered and would have been charged for them. Tommy Luke should have notified me they hadn't delivered the flowers, and they should have tried to deliver them again, calling the recipient ahead of time to see if she would be home. All I got was argument about how we couldn't expect them to make repeated trips to the recipient's apartment if they don't know she wouldn't be there. The flowers are great, but the service was very poor.
