To Your Health Fine Wines & Spirits

Now I am not a big drinker, having gotten the drinking part of my life over and done with for the most part in college, when there was still "happy hours" and "nickel nights" at the "lantern bar" (those of you that graduated from a small college south of Iowa City know all too well what I am referring to , don't you!?!) But, there is the odd occasion when I have the urge for a drink or two (usually they coincide with my oldest and his emerging social life, but I digress!) Shopping the other night for a nice bottle of wine to go with a new Italian recipe I wanted to try, I decided to visit this store. As I entered the store I was greeted by the salesclerk who asked if I needed help. I told him of my dinner and he was kind enough to suggest not just one but three different wines which might meet my need. I was impressed....not only was he knowledgeable but friendly as well. I found this store not only to be well stocked but reasonable in price as well and because of the friendliness of the salesclerk I purchased two of the offered wines and I honestly plan on returning soon for another visit. If you are in Coralville and are looking for a nice "pop shop" as we used to call it, this may be the place for you.......friendly, knowledgeable and reasonably priced.....that about says it all! The name has changed from Coralville Liquor to what it is now. The store is very clean and well lighted. The man working that I encountered was friendly towards customers and greeted them as they entered the store. Pretty good selection throughout the store. more

This liquor store is clean and very well lit. The employee is very out-going and helpful. He was cheerful and helped me locate the product I was in the store to get. He also made recommendations of other beverages that were similar that I may like to try. I like the tiny bottles that are available so you can try a small quantify before buying a larger bottle. more
