Editorial review from Citysearch 4/24/2013

I was looking forward to visiting this exhibit, unfortunately after reading the reviews, I'm not sure I want too. Several reviews indicating the staff is rude, makes me think I should go elsewhere. Doubt they are all bitter- they negative reviews span several years. Maybe the members of management should read these reviews and work with staff to improve. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 4/16/2013

Very nice dinner tours. Especially on Thursdays and Fridays when they have the dinner guided shows. Make sure to call in and reserve your dinner shows early as they sell out very quickly. They also have the biggest piece from Titanic there, ever recovered form the ocean. Very good exhibit. Well worth the money spent on tickets... I recommend it to any family traveling to Orlando, FL. It is a must see family attraction in Orlando FL besides the Disney World. Very good guided and history oriented Orlando Exhibition. more

Horrible Customer Service & Misleading Website 2/26/2012

I purchase a dinner coupon from Travel Zoo for me and my husband. Since the website said that the price for 6 to 11 y.o. is $39.95, I didn't buy extra coupon thinking my little 4 y.o. daughter won't need it. I called to make a reservation, and the person who answered the call had an attitude when I asked whether they will charge me half price for a 4 year-old or whether it's free. I ended up giving him my credit card number to reserve my daughter's seat. The next day my credit card was already charged for it although the dinner is not until a month later. Today, which is three week later or a week before the schedule dinner, I found a coupon from ""Where Orlando"" magazine to get $10 off up to 6 people for this Titanic diner show. I called right away to apply the coupon and to add another family member. The person that answered my call said she can only apply the $10 off to the new charge only not to the price that has been charged. I argued with her because the dinner won't happen until next week. I told her to at least meet me in the middle to compensate my dissapointment. For that $10 off, she was being extremly defensive and told me that the website is being updated. I told her that the same information was given to me and other customers since last year. Basically, they just keep telling customers the same thing and continue charging any kids under 6 including babies for $39.95. The fact that the dinner is for NEXT WEEK, but they WON'T APPLY the coupon is definitely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They sacrifice the service for $10! especialy on a charge that was not legitimate since my daughter is under the age as their website states. I will write another review after the dinner next week. We'll see how worse this can be. I wish there was minus 5 stars for this review. more

I'LL SAVE MY MONEY 4/29/2011

I'm not writing a review of this place as I haven't been there yet. I was planning to go when I visit Orlando next week, but after reading the review from the yound lady with the Groupon (trulydisappointed123) who had such a terrible experience with the alleged manager, I won't set foot in it now. For a manager to treat a customer like that, I'll find somewhere else to spend my tourist dollars. I'm sure there are plenty of other places that will cheerfully and politely accept my money. My son lives in Orlando and speaks very highly of the folks there. Evidently he hasn't met that ""gentleman"" yet!! more

Worst Customer Service of My Life! 1/30/2011

I would actually give this negative 5 stars, but that option isn't available...\r I had purchased a Groupon for two and attempted to use it today at this attraction. My boyfriend and I walked into the lobby and, since no one was at the desk, we patiently waited for one or two minutes until a man came over to greet us. We were polite, smiling and genuinely excited. He immediately had a rude attitude, which became rather intimidating once I stated that I was there to use my Groupon. I handed him my iPhone and he immediately gave it back to me and, in a condescending tone, told me that he needed me to print the actual ticket and there was no way it would work without the ticket. I stated that I've used Groupon numerous times and he can just access the numerical code from my app coupon. He had a very unfriendly and condescending attitude about the whole thing. He then told me the coupon was only for one person and I said it was definitely for two. He reluctantly attempted to run it through more

Rudest ""Manager"" I Have Ever Come Across In My Life! 1/29/2011

I would actually give this negative 5 stars, but that option isn't available... I had purchased a Groupon for two and attempted to use it today at this attraction. He reluctantly attempted to run it through and then found that I was in fact correct. I sincerely felt that he was rudely attacking me and acting as if my Groupon was an inconvenience to him and that I was trying to rip him off. I couldn't take his attitude anymore so I told him that he shouldn't be so rude. He proceeded to tell me that he wasn't at all being rude. Then, as he got my tickets, he went on and on about how he can't even believe they accept Groupons via phone apps because it's such an inconvenience. I then told him that if he has a problem with it he should take it up with them and not with the customer. He said, ""I am NOT being rude to you. If YOU think I am, that is YOUR perogative. I said, ""No, you were definitely being rude to us. You need to learn etiquette."" And he said, ""Hey, I let you in, didn't I? I can just take back the tickets and give you a refund."" And then he rudely extended his arm and started to reach back for the tickets. I said, ""No, I'm going into the exhibit."" And he then said, ""NO, YOU will go in FIVE MINUTES."" I got so shaken up and upset that I threw my tickets and walked out. My boyfriend then went in to ask for a refund and apparently all the guy did was have attitude with him. My boyfriend remained calm and then ended up started to stick up for us. The guy continued to be rude. My boyfriend asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager. (Our receipt says the cashier name was ""joez"" but this man wasn't wearing a name tag, so I'm not sure that was him. He was a tall man of about 60, wearing a white shirt, had gray hair...) He told him there was nothing he could do except write down our Groupon number for us. I ended up crying because he was so mean to me. And then we just went home because he had shaken us up and our entire afternoon was then ruined. I am not happy and I hope that he does not treat others that way. If so, I doubt people will put up with it. I am super polite to everyone. Before my career in the ad industry, I worked in service industry jobs and I have always treated service industry people in a nice way. But I was not about to let this guy talk to me like I was some bum. I am very upset. I am putting this story on online review sites so that no one else has to feel as belittled as I did. I cannot believe a manager (if he indeed is one) would talk to a customer that way. I think he judged me because I have tattoos, or perhaps because I was paying with a Groupon. He just immediately started being rude. more

Titanic Disaster 1/1/2011

AVOID THIS ATTRACTION. Overpriced and no real Titanic relics just all reproductions. Tour guide could not have been more annoying, his Italian accent was terrible and his interpertation stunk. Basically walk through rooms with cheap furnishings. Save your money and go and have a good meal. more

An Excellent Presentation of the Titanic 2/23/2008

I enjoyed the experience. It was an excellent presentation of the Titanic with some great recreations of the First Class staircase and typical state room as well as other features. I thought the saff was excellent and kept in character. If the price wasn't so high I would have given it five stars, but then everything in Orlando is pricey. Pros: An excellent presentation of the Titanic Cons: A few dollars to pricey for what you see more

The operson at the ticket copunter was trying to rip people off with pricing. And could have cared less whether or not they sold tickets to the exhibit.
