We found Tiny Jewel Box when my now husband and I were searching for our wedding bands. We visited many jewelers in the DC area and didn't find quite the right jewelery and/or atm...

Gorgeous small jewelery store 12/28/2005

A really unique store in Washington DC with a fabulous selection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, etc. Many of their items come from estate sales, so they are really one of a kind. They also have a great selection of engagement diamond rings for all sorts of occasions. The staff is very kind and helpful and the place is just a joy to visit. more

Beautiful jewelry and store 12/18/2005

My husband purchased my diamond engagement ring from Tiny Jewel Box. It's in a gorgeous setting that is an exclusive Tiny Jewel Box design. My husband dealt directly with the owner of the store when he bought the ring and had a fantastic experience. He really felt good about purchasing the ring there. I had the ring resized and when it came back it seemed very tight. Granted, it was in the middle of the summer so there might have been some swelling on my fingers. But I couldn't take the ring off at all. I went in a Saturday morning to ask them to size it back up a bit. When I finally found a salesperson he was adamant that he would not resize the ring until the winter. I protested but he refused. I was very frustrated at the way he treated me. He was not very nice at all. I went back a week or so later with my then-fiancee and we were helped by one of the managers. She took one look at the ring and apologized profusely that it had been sized too small. She was able to size it back slightly and now it fits beautifully. I love my ring. more

beautiful window shopping 10/13/2005

Tiny jewel box is a local DC landmark, and is located just a few blocks down from the dupont circle metro stop. It’s a multistory jewel store, with pieces ranging from manageable to astronomical! I would definitely check there first if buying something for a special occasion, or as a nice treat:). more

Exquisite Gems 9/15/2005

This is definitely a jewelry store for those who are not counting their pennies! Nothing as nice as the pieces they sell here will come cheap. With that said, if you have the money, the jewelry is exquisite and shopping here is luxurous in itself. The store windows which feature particular pieces in tiny shadowboxes are beautiful and elegant and set the standard for the whole shop. more

A Jewel of a Store 8/21/2005

We found Tiny Jewel Box when my now husband and I were searching for our wedding bands. We visited many jewelers in the DC area and didn't find quite the right jewelery and/or atmosphere. Tiny Jewel Box is nestled on Connecticut Avenue and offers the nicest selection of rings and their packaging and presentation is unbeatable. The prices are on par with the other stores but the service and local nature of the business made this store very attractive to us. more

Great Jewelry Store 8/5/2005

This is a great jewelry store with a wide selection of items both expensive and less expensive. The less expensive stuff is on the second floor. The service and quality are very good. I've had friends buy engagement rings here and they have been very happy. The store is located on Connecticut Ave. south of Dupont Circle. The store is very charming and unique. It is a great place to browse and get gift ideas. Occasionally they have great sales too. You can find unique, non traditional designs here. I highly recommend that you check this place out if you are looking for a special gift, but there are a lot of other jewelry stores in the DC area so I would also recommend that you check out the others as well. more
