TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - WON'T BE BACK\r I brought my watch in to the new store on Avery Ranch to get some links adjusted. After 4 or 5 attempts, the band felt right - but I had been waiting in the store for over 30 minutes. When I looked at the watch (which I had won from a raffle and was unworn and new in the box) I noticed a small scratch on the face. When i asked the owner (the older gentleman in the back that had adjusted the band) he became immediately defensive, raised his voice and announced to me that he had 38 years in the business and knows how to handle a watch. I asked if he thought there was anyway that it was possible the watch could have been scratched during the back and forth of the band adjustments he got louder, then yelled to me, ""Fine, you're right, I'm wrong! Now what do you want me to do about it?!"". I was mortified and can't recall the last time a business owner and ""professional"" treated me with such disrespect. After a brief exchange, he retreated into the back and I paid my bill and left. I will not be back. \r \r Now, I can tell you that the young lady at the counter, daughter of the owner I believe, is great -- friendly, informative, customer-oriented. If you need a quick battery change and only have to deal with her, you will probably by okay. But if the older gentleman with 38 years experience and a chip on his shoulder has to deal with you, you will find out exactly what I'm talking about the hard way.\r \r Welcome to to the neighborhood, Time Masters -- I will be sure to tell every person I know what a horrible experience I had and will wear my scratched watch as a badge of honor. more

Best PlaceTo Get Battery For Watch and Repair 4/25/2012

I have a talking watch. I went to Austin Watch and Jewelry and was told that my watch was broken. I knew it wasn't. So I went to Originals who was successful several years ago in replacing the battery. Not this time. The display came on but not the sound. Aaaaah. A step closer. I went to McCoy's and cute Mr. McCoy didn't hesitate to hand me Time Masters card and say...""go to John, the guru of watches"". I did. Mary, who is John's daughter, opened the back of the watch, made an adjustment, and voila, my watch talked again. Mary explained how the battery needed to be positioned in order to work. No charge. WoW. How Does It Get Better Than That! So do yourself a favor...go to Time Masters for watch/clock repair.. more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced 12/8/2011

I took five (three very expensive and two fairly inexpensive) watches into Time Masters on Tuesday to have the batteries replaced. To make a long story short...\r A female employee told me it would take 30 minutes. I opted to leave them there and run an errand. I returned in 40 minutes and they could not find my watches. They were in fact sitting right on the counter and had not had the battereis replaced. \r An older employee apologized and said that they were really busy. I told her I was disappointed that I had wasted my lunch hour waiting and left. \r \r I have had many batteries replaced here and decided to give them another chance considering that I had not ever had this experience with them. \r \r I returned with my watches Thursday. The female employee was helping another customer and the older employee helped me. She apologized again for the previous day and I told her that I was upset because my watches were left on the counter for anyone to take.\r \r The female employee became very upset and defensive about my complaint and said she had a family emergency and had to leave and that was the reason for watches to be left out and untouched. I would have acceped her apology and moved on but she instead started yelling at me and told me I could take my business elsewhere. She was still yelling at me as I walked out the door. \r They have cheap watch batteries, but you get what you pay for and this shop is not worth the wait. more
