Best

They were about the same cleanliness as other home improvement stores. We use them whenever we need tile or wood. Way less expensive!

Worst

We are currently remolding the store and the restrooms are not open for the public use right now. We do not know how this person can use our restrooms when we have been remodeling...

\r They are dishonest!\r \r They don't mark price on most of products in store. You have to ask the salesman for the price. \r \r Most wood floor in the show room are close out. It's sounds cheaper comparing with regular price at home deport. but It's really not! When they add other things like molding etc, the final price is much higher than same quality of product at home depot.\r \r I won't do any business with them again! more

Tile Depot 7/11/2011

you tell 'em Yunchi! The guys were great, the prices unbeatable and the material top notch! They let me shop without hovering over me, Lang and the guys answered my questions, beat any price offered elsewhere (by a long shot, I might add) and even took back the material that I bought when my contractor overestimated the amount I would need. No re-stocking fee, no hassle, nada...I would DEFINITELY recommend them to people as your first stop. Then go look around. I'd be surprised if Tile Depot won't be your last stop as well. more

Shady Operation 5/14/2011

Wow..... Where do I start? I'm shopping for flooring in San Antonio, someone told me to look into Tile Depot. I walk in and the place looks like a dump, not organized at all. I was never greeted, just some guy behind the counter looked up at me and kind of waived. I tried asking him a few questions about a hardwood I was looking for and all he told me was that he could beat anyones price in town. To make matters worse I had to use the restroom, went in, and it was nastier than any bathroom Ive ever seen in my life. I over heard one of the workers talking horribly about a customer and how they ""jacked her up"" what ever that means..... I turned around and walked out..... I can't believe I wasted 5 minutes of my life there. STAY AWAY! more

Best tile price in town 3/1/2011

I have several rentals in town. I have tried to shop around town to get the best price, and still return to Tile Depot. I used Tile Depot for over 2000 Sq Foot of wood in my own home. Go shop the rest and go to Tile depot and get what you need for the best price. I see that some people are upset about the installation. I have used the installers at Tile Depot and I assure you that they do a good job. The owner backs each install and will ensure that any problems are taken care of. more

Customer Service and Installation very poor, Product great! 1/18/2011

I agree 100% with the guy that complained about their installation. We love our floors. It's a great product at a wonderful price, but their customer service and installation is TERRIBLE. Whenever we called to address something that was wrong with the floor, the t-molding came up, there are gaps in the flooring, they would always say ""We'll call you back tomorrow."" We would never get a return call, even after SEVERAL calls. Then, when finally pinned down, they seemed to want every piece of info possible....what was the guy's name that did your floor? What was he wearing? Do you have your ticket number? They would repeat this each time we called. It was flat-out obnoxious, and seemed like they were simply looking for ways to get out of their ""year contract"" on the installation. Once we FINALLY managed to get them out to actually fix the floor, the guy didn't measure the t-molding correctly, leaving large gaps. We're so sick of dealing with them that we probably will just somehow manage to live with it, fill it with wood putty or something. Do NOT use them for installation. End of story. more

Great place for Flooring 3/25/2010

We recently bought a house and wanted to put in wood floors. We looked EVERYWHERE in town and found that everything we liked was terribly expensive. Then we found Tile Depot. The flooring selection we saw there was incredible and the prices were even better! We selected beautiful dark engineered hardwood floors and paid half what other places are selling it for. They began installation right away and were done within a week. We even had them do the staircase and their workmanship is impecable. It truly looks amazing!! The owner, Lang, may be a bit quirky, but you will not find a more honest, true to his word guy. He definitely wants his customers to be happy and will make sure the job is done right every time! I could not be happier with the service, product, price and work that they did. We will drfinitley use Tile Depot for all of our future remodelling needs. Pros: Awesome selection, Fair Prices, Quick installation more

Don't Let Them Install 3/15/2009

Tile Depot: Don't let the Name Surprise You, This is a Jewel for Finding Natural Stone Products 4/16/2007

I was referred by a contractor to this business. My husband and I are rennovating our entire house and are down to the last two bathrooms. I really didn't expect anything other than just another flooring depot type business. Why hadn't we found this business earlier in our rennovation project? I was delightfully shocked by the unique, quality items on display. While in the shop, I called my spouse to tell him about all the great products and prices. As soon as I hung up, I heard another customer call his wife and tell her she needed to get to the shop immediately as he could simply not believe the outstanding prices and products. I found the manager/owner to be very friendly, informative and extremely customer friendly. Some of the stone accent listellos and borders were offered as a couple of boxes per design such that once the eixsting quantities sold, it was out-of-stock and not reorderable. Most of these items had enough in stock to complete an average residential project such as a for accent tiles for a bathroom remodeling project. Not only were the prices great, but I found natural stone products that were simply not available at other local San Antonio stores. The store also had a nice selection of stone mosaics for floors. A vist to Tile Depot is worth your gas money and then some! Pros: Superb prices and interesting selection of products Cons: One room showroom; Many tiles require 2-3 ordering time. more
