My family was eating at Thelma's BBQ before the restaurant received rave reviews and statewide acclaim. The food nor Thelma has changed. We've learned the busy hours and if we have to wait in a line to be served, we know that it's worth it. If we're told that they have run out of a particular item, we know there are excellent substitutes. Our favorites are the rib sandwiches, ""slamming"" fish dinners, ""over the border"" baked potatoes, ""down home""potato salad and the sausage/beef combination baked potato. We love Thelma and her excellent fare!!!!
Pros: family-size portions, customer satisfaction, inexpensive
Cons: crowded, A/C
