We ordered the sliced brisket sandwich... it came in a styrofoam to-go tub that was filled to the brim with meat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can still taste it. We had leftovers for 2 more meals more

We remember when.... 4/28/2005

My family was eating at Thelma's BBQ before the restaurant received rave reviews and statewide acclaim. The food nor Thelma has changed. We've learned the busy hours and if we have to wait in a line to be served, we know that it's worth it. If we're told that they have run out of a particular item, we know there are excellent substitutes. Our favorites are the rib sandwiches, ""slamming"" fish dinners, ""over the border"" baked potatoes, ""down home""potato salad and the sausage/beef combination baked potato. Thelma's food is the best. From the Bar B Que, to the Fried Fish and further down to the Veggies and Dessert!!! The amount of food you give for the reasonable prices is magnificent. I will definitely return and pass the word to my friends and family about how great Thelma's Bar B Que is!!! Pros: Great Prices, Great Food, Large Portions more

Loved It !! 9/26/2004

My family and I had the brisket, sausage links, ribs , potato salad, and beans this past Saturday and it was delicious. I was blown away by how good the the ribs were-- Thelma's Bar B Que totally blows Goode Company and Luther's out of the water--- I must say this is the best BBQ I've ever had-- Cant' wait to go back! Best Ribs in Town!!!!!!!!!!!!! 6/17/2004

Thelma's offers the usual fare in BBQ, (ie. chicken, brisket and ribs). However, the ribs and chopped beef are fantabulous!!!!!! Hands-down the ribs are of the meaty variety as opposed to scrawny and dried out elsewhere. The chopped beef baked potato and sandwich are wonderful. The portions are outrageouse for the price. I highly recommend!!! Thelma's is not for the SNOOTY!!!! Pros: ribs, side dishes, chopped beef Cons: , not open on Sunday, could use central A/C more

Great Catfish!!! 7/10/2003

The Cornmeal Fried Catfish is great. The BBQ is not as good as Goode Company, but the prices here are very low and the portions huge! Thelma herself is a very nice lady! Pros: Low Prices, Big Portions, Good Veggies Cons: BBQ Not that good more
