Theatres of Georgetown

For the only theater in Georgetown I was a little underwhelmed: the screens are rather small for the size of the audience and the establishment seems a bit rundown. That aside, I got a great deal on ticket and concession prices through Groupon (they have this offer several times a year). The staff were courteous and the popcorn was good and buttery! I'll still be seeing my action flicks down the road in Lexington, but whenever I've got a less experiential film to see, the Groupon deal is completely worth the trip and small screen. more

I really love this little theatre. The manager and people are GREAT! The theatre is clean and has a home like feeling! Pricing is low and they even have 3D for those movies that are worth seeing in 3D. Oh, and in the summer they have a free movie for the kids! They even give you a break during the movie and gives away prizes! A free movie, plus they draw for prizes,WOW! You need to check out this place! more

this cinema is a nice place to see a movie without leaving georgetown. But once the lights are off and the movie starts management does not care if people are disrupting the movie. I have no tolerance for disrespective teens and once had to solve this problem myself since management didn't seem to care. I pay money to watch a movie, NOT put up with loud teens and also adults that refuse to shutup/turnoff cell phones etc. be prepared to deal with disruptive people on your own. Way cheaper than florence about half the price. Snacks are cheaper. Only thing is that the snack consession. Girls are very rude and ignored me when I asked a question I asked 3 times. I guess ur not aloud to ask questions more

theater of georgetown is to small to have them not have count on the ticket sells they over sell tickets to try to make money , for big movies like ( Alice in wonderland) having people stand or sitting on the floor, big mouth teens that dont know how to shut up when a movie is playing, some people want to watch a movie and not put up with dumb ass teens, and on top of that having cell phones out when everybody was told to put them up, me and my girlfriend was sitting beside like 5 teen boys and they wouldnt shut up or sit still! alls i can say is that i wont be going back til they can do something about how they over sell the tickets and having the teens shut up and watch a movie, i can always go to lexington to see a movie Pros: the only good thing was the popcorn Cons: teens that cant sit or shut up, over selling of tickets more
