The Swan

We stayed at the Swan after being told how great this place is and I have to say I was not impressed. The pros are: They are very close to a lot of other hotels that you can visit. You get free transportation to and from all the disney attractions. They have a very nice pool area. They have a cute little character breakfast that you dont have to make reservations for and you get a few characters to just show up.They allowed us to check out two hours later. Now for the cons: The hotel was almost two hundred dollars a night and the room was not all that. The pull out sofa was broke along with a large stain on the cushion. The room smelled of wet dog. The service was not that great. We called down to have our luggage brought up and it took them nearly 2 hours and then I had to go down and stand there until they actually went to get it. There was only one food choice for breakfast and one dinner choice. The breakfast buffet was over twenty dollars per person. I was even charged the kid rate for my three year old. (he didnt even eat he was sick). I think this hotel is crap compared to the Dolphin which was cheaper per night and also nicer. I would never stay here again. more

We LOVE the swan! We love that you can stay on site at Disney, without a car, and not go broke! We love that you can get a heavenly bed while being on site at Disney also. The Swan is the only place that can happen! It is SO close to all of the Disney action and you get free transportation. The Swan is on the lake with the boardwalk and all of it's fabulous restaurants! The Swan shares a pool with the Dolphin. It is a very nice pool and I'm sure in the summer is wonderful! However, in October it was a bit chilly to be in. We still return though! more
