When my sister was a student at FIU, there were a couple of times I had to take her to school. Since we live so far from FIU, I waited for her rather than return home and come back. One of my favorite things to do while she was in class was to visit The Patricia and Phillip Frost Art Museum. It has built a prestigious reputation for its creative and innovative exhibitions and programs. The museum likes to showcase Florida artists but also includes artwork from artists worldwide. The Critics Lecture Series features important critics, art historians and artists. ArtPark features the Martin Z. Margulies Collection, one of the worlds finest collections of modern outdoor sculpture. Admission has been FREE, however, a beautiful new structure is being built and I don't know if this will continue to be true.
