Cheap Eats, Fun Atmosphere 4/26/2006

The best kept secret in Atlantic City - The Irish pub is tucked back off of the boardwalk on St. James place. The food is cheap and the beer is an equally good value. Recently had dinner for 4, each with one beer for $45 - Where else can you find that in Atlantic City. The service is great and the food is pretty good too - Don't expect much above pub fare, but it gets the job done. Beers are $2.50 for domestics, and I think $3.50 for imports which is pretty reasonable. Make sure to swing by the Irish Pub when you are looking to take a break from the AC madness!! more

A Must Visit 9/21/2005

If you are in Atlantic City, you absolutely MUST go to the Irish Pub. In the afternoon, this is a place that my Irish grandfather visits for a hamburger and a beer. At dinner hour, take your family for great cheap food and a fun atmosphere. At night, this place comes alive with 20-somethings, loud and having a great time. This is the kind of place where you get a table with your friends and do some serious drinking. There is no dancing, and I've never seen live music, if you want that, go to the casinos. This is simply a place to hang out, eat, drink and have fun. more

Refreshing place to relax 7/31/2005

This is the place to go if you are looking to sit down and relax for awhile after visiting the casinos in Atlantic City. The food is good and the drinks are even better. The service is fast, we never had to wait long for our order. Food has always been good and reasonably priced. They offer a nice variety of snacks as well. It's a nice place to sit and eat and chat. No need to rush out. They let you hang out as long as you want. more

Great night out 7/17/2005

Whenever my husband and I get a chance to get out of the house without the kids, we usually head to Atlantic City. After checking out a few casinos, we always end up at The Irish Pub. The Pub is located right on the boardwalk which makes it easy to get to from the casinos. One side of the bar has sit down dinner service where we usually start out. The other side is the bar room side which is where we go to hang out a bit after dinner. The people are very pleasant and we always have a good time. more
