I have had my cars serviced for various things from brakes, timing belts ...well you name it. I love my cars and i am very hesitant to let just anyone touch my cars. Needless to say I wasn't sure about trying a new repair shop, but since the others I have been too have been over priced and the service was over rated. I was told about the Import Doctors from a friend of mine who has been going there for years, so I gave it a shot. Jim, the mechanic I spoke to was very knowledgeable and straight forward with me. I cant stand shops that try to sell me a new car everytime I go in. Jim, told me what my car needed and also the items which i should keep an eye out for, but he didn't try to convince me with franchise sales training bull___some of these other shops in seattle try to do. The price was very fair considering he used the quality parts that I wanted, and I was suprised he could find them for my car. In the past I have gone to some shops and requested they use a specific quality or brand of parts for my car and they dont, and 6 out of 10 time I have a problem and waste my damn time going back to them to do it right. I live downtown and there are not many shops in the area, and I dont like driving ten minutes to get to a shop where I have to wait two hours in a cramed waiting area. I like the fact that I could drop my car off and walk back home, and in the event I did have to return It's not a hassle. Its been 4 months since I got my brakes, and tune up on my car at The Import Doctors, and I have not had any problems. They did a great job and my car runs_great. My overall feeling of The Import Doctors...qualitywork, fair...convenient and I will return with my other cars.
Pros: convenience, quality work, price, near everything
Cons: no parking lot, no waiting area,
