I was extremely irritated with a recent experience regarding a my purchase of recommend face wash after my facial. I was told that if I was not satisfied with the face wash, I could return it. Indeed, after the first use, my face became extremely dry and flaky.
I bought the face wash at the Chesterfield location (and had a facial at that location) at the time due scheduling other engagements in that area on that same date. However, I live and work 20 miles from this location and the Brentwood location is much closer.
So, I tried to return the product with its receipt within 30 days of purchase and was not allowed to do so. In fact, I wanted to exchange the product for another product and the Brentwood employee called the Chesterfield employee on Sunday June 5, 2011 to help facilitate a return/exchange. I personally spoke to the Chesterfield employee as well. I was not allowed to return the product unless I did so at the Chesterfield location.
This detail is not stipulated in the receipt or by the person who sold me the product at the Chesterfield location on May 18, 2011. I wasted my time going to the Brentwood location and am still stuck with a product that is awful for my face. This is immensely irritating, a waste of my time and effort and extremely poor customer service with unprofessional lack of disclosure.
A Chesterfield manager was not in town on June 5, 2011 and I was told that Ann would be back on Tuesday.
