A Charming Movie House 11/27/2006

I agree with the other reviewers. This is a charming little movie house with a rich history behind it. The current owners pick the kind of unusual films that I enjoy. They will also make fresh decaf coffee on demand and serve it to you in the theater when it's ready. I travel to the Boston area frequently on business and my excursions to the Dedham Community Theater make my trips all the more pleasant. Allen from NY more

I love this theater 4/11/2006

This theater needs a little work, but for a small town theater it works well. They sell alcoholic beverages and concessions and you can enjoy the latest independent film here. It reminds me of an art house theater in the Northampton/Amherst area which is where I am from, so I loved it. I wish that Deham could invest a little more into its quaint little downtown area and detract attention from the congested route one area. This is a great place to start to revitalize. more

Great Community Theater 8/31/2005

The Dedham Community Theater still has the charm of the old grand movie theaters that is lacking in the chain cineplexes. The ticket prices are very reasonable. General admission is $8.50. Senior, kids, and matinee tickets are 5.50. The theater has two screens and generally shows independent films. more
