The Cheesecake Factory

I've been at several cheesecake factories, Waikiki, SF and Walnut Creek and love them all. I treated some friends at the District Cheesecake factory and had the worst tasting meal ever! Was never offered any parmesan or pepper either but that wasn't even an issue. I had the pasta da vinci and it was gross. My husband had some very old ahi. The waiter couldn't believe we didn't like the food and then came back and said he told his co-workers and they couldn't believe it either. There is apparently no customer service involved in this locations training. We received no attention as we left even though there were three employees at the front talking to one another. Our receipt didn't contain a survey code as well. My family nor my friends will never dine at this location again and I suggest you avoid it as well. We eat here every time we come into Vegas (our ritual first restaraunt stop). We love the Cheesecake Factory in Vegas! Not sure why, but it is far better than either the Nashville ot Atlanta Cheesecake Factories. The food is always cooked to perfection, and lots of it. The service has always been great. We have been here at least two-dozen times and have never been dissapointed. As long as they keep the great service and food we will always make this our first stop visiting Vegas. This restaurant is my family's favorite!! We don't have one at home, but everytime we go out of town we look for a Cheesecake Factory. The atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. We usually have a group of ten or more and we have no trouble being seated although we have had to wait 30 minutes to an hour at times. It's worth the wait though. My favorite dish is the Louisianna Chicken and Pasta. I don't really like ""fancy"" food, but I love great tasting food and this restaurant delivers. Oh, by the way, the cheesecake is delicious too. We've eaten here several times on our visits to Las Vegas and it is one of the better chain restaurants we've enjoyed. Service is good and the food is very good. The large portions make for great take home and a second meal. The Louisiana Chicken Pasta is my personal favorite but there are several other choices. For an appetizer you must try the Avocado Egg Rolls and if you're a burger lover try the Ranch House Burger or the Tons of Fun Burger. For those looking for an ""old-fashioned"" entree try the Shepherd's Pie. The only thing that I would skip is the Pizza - you will find better at a good pizza restaurant.
