Wowsers - thats a TON of food! 3/25/2006

I've never actually tried the cheesecake, though I hear it's good. The line is always forever long if you just want to order some cheesecake at the counter. The meals however are typically very good, though it's sometime hit or miss depending on what you order. Try the shrimp scampi - it typically is very very yummy and a lot more shrimp than you'll get at most restaurants. You might want to split it with 4 of your closet friends though - it's HUGE! more

The prices are too high 3/21/2006

The portions here are huge. There is no way I can ever finish my meal here. I have no problems with huge portions because I’m always willing to bring food home but the prices here are too high for the quality. The food is good but not great. Expect to pay a lot for only a decent meal. more

More than just cheesecake 3/19/2006

I was always so naïve to think this was a desert only establishment. This place is more than just cheesecake. They serve some great meals, both dinner and lunch. The prices are little high but the food is extremely good for a chain restaurant. Just make sure to save room for the wonderful cheesecake. The only negative is parking is sometimes a pain around here but this restaurant is not far from the Clarendon Metro. more

Excellent dessert; mediocre food 11/11/2005

The Cheesecake Factory is a popular food chain - there is one in at least every major city I've been to. That said - the food is merely mediocre. The portion sizes are enormous! A serving of pasta lasts 3 meals for me. But - GO THERE FOR DESSERT! There is a cheesecake for everyone - from chocolate lovers to fruit lovers - even low carb cheesecake for the Atkins/South Beach people. And - if you don't like cheesecake - the carrot cake and strawberry shortcake are to die for! more

Yummy fun! 6/17/2005

If you haven’t heard of this place, you’ve been living under a rock. A big one. You know, I am not much for chain restaurants, but this one is pretty good. It’s nice inside, the staff is usually very friendly, and the food is good. I have not eaten a bad meal there. Oh, and let’s not forget the cheesecake. There are so many different cheesecake flavors to choose from, like Godiva chocolate, white chocolate raspberry truffle, tiramisu cheesecake, fresh banana cream cheesecake, and many more. Even a person who doesn’t dig cheesecake would love these cheesecakes. It’s just a fun place to go. more
