Fabulous selection, knowledgable, helpful staff 12/21/2010

In looking for antique lights the only place my wife could find what she was looking for was the Antique Lighting Co. We found the staff helpful in suggesting a different base that would work with the lamp shades. When it was time to pick them up and I called because I would be about 5 min late coming from Woodinville. They stayed around until I arrived and picked them up. We'll definately be going back when we need fixtures in the future. more

The BEST Lighting Store in NW Washinton - Period. 10/30/2010

Antique Lighting is wonderful. We looked through all the lighting stores in the greater Seattle/Bellevue area and and only Antique Lighting had the selection, knowledge and customer service that would earn my business. And I'll be the first to admit: I'm critical and I'm picky. I wanted lighting that complimented our home and blended with a casual but polished style. I wanted attention to detail. We purchased two beautiful Tom Stempel hand-blown originals and a fabulous chandelier and sconces by Hubbardton Forge. I couldn't be more pleased. The service was so exceptioinal. Don't bother going anywhere else. Antique Lighting is the best! And a really nice plus......all of our lighting is Made in the USA. now, match that anywhere else in town. I dare ya. more

Amazing Service 4/15/2008

My husband and I recently purchased several lamps at Antique Lighting. We very much appreciated the knowledgeable and courteous assistance we received from Marva Lougee and Kristine Kyle; their expertise was a big factor in us giving them our patronage. Pros: Great Selection, Knowledgeable sales staff (love the shop dogs) more

A terrible exhausting & haunting experience. I couldn't hate them more, really. Criminal behavior. 9/9/2007

Everyone loves old lamps, and everyone wants to avoid the made-in-China trap. Which is why my wife and I spent $500 or more (my memory slides - time heals all wounds?) on a ""French"" lamp in the spring of 2007. The misleadingly-friendly staff told me they were out of stock on the item we wanted. But that they could give us the display model. There would, however, be no refunds. Pros: They have lamps - some made not in China!! Cons: They will rob you dearly more

Disappointed 8/4/2006

While the selections are probably some of the best in the area, I am disappointed. I ordered a custom fixture that cost $1500. I was told the artist would be firing my glass bowl the next day, but because of the busy schedule the driilling and the hardware could not be done until 3 weeks later. I watched the sales person put my order down in their appointment calendar to be worked on those days. I left the store with a date that it would be ready. The day before the date, I had not heard from them, and called to follow up. They did not have an answer for me, so would call me back. When they returned the call, I learned there were delays, and I would have to wait another week. I am disappointed that I was not notified about the delay, and their attitude about it. I believe if I had not called, they would not have given it priority, and the delay would have been longer than a week. Pros: small selection but the best of the best. great for craftman and antique homes Cons: limited parking, higher prices with lower than expected service, unsatisfactory follow up more

Hard to find parts found here! 7/6/2006

I came across this business on a Google search for an obscure part and they had it with excellent service and friendly smiles. My regular electrical supplier did not have it nor did they show any interest in helping me solve my problem. The showroom alone is woth visiting if you are a builder, remodeler or lighting designer. more

What a fun place to shop 3/6/2005

This store is the place to go for your lighting needs. You get such a warm and cozy feeling when you walk in. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. You can customize your light fixture. If you see a fixture you like and then find a shade on another, you can have it made. I purchased a chandelier there that I absolutely love and I know that I will not find it everyone else's house. Have someone come out to your house for a consultation. I did and I now look at lighting with a different perspective. more

Feels Good 1/12/2005

I finally made it into the store this week and what a nice experience. First off the staff were really great, very helpful but also honest and down to earth. But what I really liked was just being in the store. it was warm and spacious and I could browse at leisure to get a feel for all the different lighting concepts. I did not want to leave. Very nice experience!! Pros: Beautiful space, Selection, Staff more
