Wonderful Time 8/24/2011

I went with a good friend of mine. We both got facials. We had a wonderful welcome and even a glass of champagne for my friend) and wine for myself. There were no changing of clothes and putting on robes (we were ONLY getting facials) but the waiting room was really nice and the atmosphere is very spa like. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who did my facial b/c she was wonderful. Explained everything to me and never pushed any products on me. Only recommended a sunscreen because I asked about it when I told her I couldn't find the right one for my skin type. I would definitely go back and even got my boss a gift card to go there. I can't wait to try out some other services. more

Always, always have a terrific experience at Woodhouse Day Spa in Plano. From the minute I walk in the door I feel welcomed. It is quiet and relaxing and I have always had a great massage, facial, pedicure, etc. more

best pedi in town! 8/16/2011

I began going to Woodhouse after contracting a staph infection from another ""nail salon."" Cleanliness was of upmost importance to me in my search for a new place to get my pedicures. I found that and lots more at the Woodhouse! The staff is friendly, attentive, and service oriented. Not only do I think it's the best place for a mani/pedi, it's also the best massage in the area! more

Trips to Dallas just for the Spa 8/15/2011

I live in Tulsa, Ok and at least twice a year I make a trip to the Dallas/Plano area for shopping and the WOODHOUSE DAY SPA!!! It is wonderful there and always an amazing time. The staff there are great! The best foot massage/peticure ever!! I am already planning a trip to go back and I just got home yesterday! :) more

Best Facial Ever 8/7/2011

I have been a customer at the Woodhouse Day Spa for about 3 years. I also bring my teenage daughter, husband and sister for facials. It is a great relaxing place with excellent staff. The price is very reasonable with great estheticians. I also had enjoyed massage services as well as pedicures. The facility is clean, neat and gives you a sense of serenity and calmness. The Woodhouse Day Spa is a great choice and my favorite place to go. more

Best place for a pedicure and massage in the burbs 8/3/2011

This place is fantastic! Very relaxing. When you walk in they offer wine or champagne. Pedicure room is quite. No loud tv's and cell phone talking like other places. Massage rooms are quite and beautiful. Prices are competitive. The staff is professional and friendly. I have no desire to go anywhere else. You will love it! more

Pedicures are the best! 8/2/2011

While I have experienced other services at the Woodhouse, such as massages, my highest recommendation would have to be the pedicures. They are consistently great and something I look forward to every time sandal season rolls around! This year they have started monthly themes with different products, which has added some additional variety and fun...having something new to look forward to each month. more

Great Massages and Great Staff 8/2/2011

I have been going to this spa for years for their swedish and hot stone massage. The staff is so great! It is a relaxing enviornment and the staff really cater to your needs. I have gotten couples massages a few times, a pea in the pod massage, and then just regular swedish massages and they were all amazing. This is the only place I go for a rub down in Texas. more

Woodhouse Day Spa at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, TX is the nicest spa I've ever visited. I've been several times - always for a Swedish Massage. The staff is very helpful and attentive. My hubby and I got a couples massage for our anniversary - great experience! more

more than disappointing 9/14/2010

Don't have any waxing done here. I saw the Asian lady for a lip and brow wax. For one thing, she didn't listen to my instructions about not touching anything except the blond hair below the brow...not wanting my brows any thinner! After she started tweezing one side, it was too late to stop. more

Better than expected 9/25/2009

After reading some of the reviews I wasn't so sure about going but because I had received a gift card, I went ahead and scheduled a massage and pedicure. I loved the robe they put me in and also the recommended cinnamon tea was wonderful! My massage was excellent and I felt like I was in a dream-like trance throughout with the aroma oils. I would come back a million times over for this. My feet were in bad shape and the nail lady made them smooth as satin! Pros: A Perfect Day more

Great massage, however overcharged and unable to get refund 7/3/2009

I loved the massage and the facility is really nice. I was overcharged a simple $10 and have called & emailed to get it refunded. After the manager told it was refunded, it wasn't. I can't get the manager back on the phone. Be cautious of this establishment. Pros: Good massage Cons: Overpriced, overcharged & incompetent with issuing refund more

Very relaxing and kind staff 2/16/2009

I went to Woodhouse for the first time last week. My skin had been in a world of hurt and I wanted to get a nice facial to get a base and start over with a routine. I arrived early for my appt (as requested). I was taken to the sitting room to fill out paperwork and offered a glass of wine. My appt. started on time and I was taken upstairs to one of the rooms. People have complained about the wood floors making noise but I didnt notice. They have a rug down the entire hall so I think that helps. Pros: Very relaxing, not rushed Cons: Wish I was able to use a sauna before or after service. more
