I loved this place. Great atmosphere, great service and good food. Lovedsitting back and listening to the band play and having a few drinks.

Worst

This place does not prepare meals to order; they're just ready-slopped on a plate within seconds of your request. Worst fried green tomatoes I've ever had. The sauces are pretty...

Out of the way barbeque 8/20/2005

This place is right off the square, but you've got to know you are looking for it or you would never know it was there. They serve good barbeque in this casual setting. Be prepared to get a huge glass of tea with your food. The lunch crowd is a fun crowd because it's a lot of tourists or people just out shopping for the day. more

Incredible food, Music, Atmosphere 8/12/2005

If you love Ribs then you have to visit the Swallow at the Hollow. Their ribs are so awesome! The restaurant is relatively small and sometimes you have to wait but it sure is worth it. If you plan ahead, you can usually hear live country music being played on the stage inside the restaurant. Look for their website for updates on who will be playing. They usually have some pretty decent singer/songwriters from the country music scene perform. Sometimes they'll even have some pretty big names show up. Get a group together and go have a great time. I loved it, I think you will too. more

FUN restaurant and GREAT live music 8/2/2005

The food is great and the entertainment is even BETTER! This unique restaurant is similiar to Bluebird Cafe, in the sense that the original writers of hit songs are singing their songs for you. It is so much fun to hear the story of how the song was written and then ended up becoming a hit for a major singer. The food is out of this world. Home cooked ribs, macaroni and cheese, brunswick stew, french fries. You get the drift. Fattening, comfort food. Delicious! more
