Worst microdermabrasion ever! I have been twice as part of a 3 part Groupon voucher. Microdermabrasion was rushed and careless. Dust in my eyes and eyelashes. Before starting th 2nd treatment I had to ask for something to cover my eyes. All appointments were repeatedly rescheduled. I didn't evEn bother with the 3rd. I will stay with Urban Retreat. The spa sold hundreds of these vouchers on Groupon. Don't offer you services if the products offered on a special will be extremely inferior to a regular priced treatment. The whole point of services like Groupon is repeat business for your company after the experience what you have to offer. \r Sheila more

If you are having any type of rare skin problems, or you are looking to relax getting a soothing facial that will make some serious changes to your skin, this is the place to go and Veronica De Hoyos is the BEST aesthetician to see!!! I had moved to Houston not too long ago and I kept on getting clear bumps all over my face, and I had gone to see two dermatologists who kept on prescribing: 1. Antibiotics 2. Cremes that didn't even make a difference and the costs were ludicrous! Money doesn't grow on trees!!! 3. birth control? I learned about The Skin Renewal Center from a woman who is in her mid 70's but looks like early 60's. She told me about Sculptra to create volume in the face. My skin was starting to 'drape' and I was beginning to look like 'the Crypt Keeper' (at 46; I'm 50 now).\r \r I went for a consultation and was so happy that I didn't have to deal with Med Center traffic and parking. They are conveniently located down the street from The Chocolate Bar which is another plus ;~>\r \r Dr McNamara LISTENED to me! I told him my concerns and he came up with an affordable solution. He and his warm, caring staff have earned my trust and I have been going to the Center for Sculpta, Thermage ( the radio frequency skin tightening MIRACLE at the touch of a wand), Lipodissolve under my chin, and Botox for congenital bottom lip asymmetry (he magically fixed my crooked mouth) since 2006. \r \r I like the fact that Dr McNamara is Board certified in Internal Medicine. The office is in a cute renovated old house. It's a very comfortable environment. First of all, I am a middle aged male who is not accustomed to pampering myself with cosmetic procedures. It was not easy for me to decide that it was time to seek assistance for some evident signs of aging that I could see in my face. The idea of having a cosmetic procedure was a little intimidating to me. I decided on the Skin Renewal Center based on previous professional experience I had with Dr McNamara. I feel that I was treated with sensitivity and respect. He takes time to listen to my questions and concerns; as well as takes time to explain everything in terms that I can understand. I have been a patient of Dr. McNamara for several years and noticed that his Office Manager was losing weight at a very impressive rate. When I inquired he informed me that it was one of Dr. McNamaras latest weightloss plans. I scheduled an appointment and began a three week long procedure. I had weekly visits and felt the personal consults were very helpful. I was so pleased with my results(inches lost) I signed up for a second round of treatment. My final result was a loss of 14 lbs. I continued on the eating plan very naturally because I had noticed my appitite had been reduce drastically. The greatest suprise was that my weigh continued to drop off very rapidly as well as the inches. As discussed when I began the weight loss plan it was mentioned that I would basically be restarting my metabolism. This is exactly what happen!!!\r I began this program a solid size 14 and am now down to a size 8. I've been a client of the Skin Renewal Center for several years. I have had numerous facials around town, but this place is the absolute BEST! The products are fabulous, the treatment is wonderful. Their staff really takes care of their clients. From the front desk, Ric always greets with a great smile, and the esthetician Veronica really takes time to get to know your skin and makes the client feel much pampered. I've had facials, skin peels, micro-dermabrasion and juvederm injections and I wouldn't trust anyone else in Houston but Dr. McNamara and his staff. Dr. MacNamara was my primary care physician before he started his private practice, and so I was already confident that the Skin Renewal Center's services would be superlative. I was not disappointed: two weeks ago I had the best facial *ever.* I have struggled with oily, uneven skin and have blackheads in my T-zone. My skin is now clear, blemish-free, and most importantly, the oil is under control. Moreover, both the facial and the recommended products (they gave me a week's supply of free samples to try first) were very reasonably priced. I will never go anywhere else for a facial again. I took the advice of a girlfirend to visit Dr. McNamara. My main concern was my saggy neckline and lack of lips. During my consultation, the Dr. recommended the Thermage procedure and lip augmentation. The Thermage procedure was virtually painless and results were immediate. The funny thing was no one could really place what was different, but everyone noticed a more youthful appearance in my skin. I always had thin lips but i noticed they have become thinner as I aged. Dr. McNamara and his staff really know what they're doing at the Skin Renewal Center. There are so many ""medi-spas"" these days, I have learned the hard way you have to be careful about who you actually let do things to your face (bad Botox, anyone?!). \r \r I've had wonderful medical-grade facials and peels that have made my skin much smoother. Also I have utilized their ""Thermage"" treatment for firming and tightening the skin around my face and jawline. \r \r Dr. McNamara provides true expertise for Botox and Juvederm (wrinkle filler).
