The Robusto Room is a quaint martini lounge and cigar bar by day that really wakes up at night. It's definitely the hottest spot on the south side. Drinks are super reasonably pri...

Best Cigar Bar Lounge Ever 7/3/2009

Every time I go I have a great time. NO fights, NO BS, just good people having a good time Pros: Great Atmosphere, Awesome Staff Cons: I love everything about this place more

Fabulous atmosphere, DJ was great 12/16/2008

So, I usually go out of town to visit with my girlfriends and ""go out"". This time, my best friend was headed up here and since we weren't exactly wanting the club scene, I wasn't sure where to go! We DID however, want club music and seeing the previous reviews about this place I decided to give it a go. Pros: Atmosphere, music, waitress, bartender invented great drinks for me Cons: small, got bonked a bit in my chair, not a good variety of people... yet. If you go, you can change that! Doesn't get ""busy"" til late - was never busy really more

Younger crowd, LOUD music 11/30/2008

If you like cigars and LOUD club music this would be a fantastic place....Unfortunately my wife and I were looking for a quiet, intimate atmosphere after dinner at Morton's to bask in the victory of closing a huge deal. Being from Seattle we were not familiar with any cigar bars and relied on the advice of the hotel desk clerk. Anyhow...were I 20 years younger, I probably would have been quite comfortable. As it was not what we were looking for, we went for a nice walk and enjoyed an Acid, Kuba Kuba. Nice place, decent cigar selection....turn that racket down!....Oh crap...I've turned into my dad. Pros: decent cigar selection, plenty of parking Cons: difficult to see from parking or road, poor ventilation more

Good service, music ok if you like hip hop 11/22/2008

Went on a Friday night around 10. Staff and service very good and amiable. Had a decent, though not real fresh, Montecristo cigar. Music was very loud and hip hop. Place was not smoky at all despite my puffing away (and others). I was hoping for better music. If you like loud hip hop, this is your place, at least at 10 on a Friday night. I went because I liked what I read about the owner's passion for live music and jazz. It had more of a hip hop feel than anything else. That was disappointing. Might try it again another night, though doubtful. Pros: Good service, decent cigar selection Cons: very loud hip hop more

This place has changed for the worst. 10/13/2008

Unfortunately, the live band part no longer exists. They only have DJs there now. The eclectic energy is virtually gone. The place used to be packed with an eclectic group of people (rare in suburban Denver). Last time I was there, the place was half empty. I passed by it on the way out of the movies around 9:00 pm and the place was dead. That was not the case a year ago. Pros: Martinis and drinks are still good Cons: Lost its eclectic flair. No longer has live bands. Great loss to the South Denver area more

The best hangout down south by far! 4/21/2007

Let me by saying that I LOVE THIS PLACE! The bar is gorgeous, with a great vibe unlike any other place I've been (including downtown). The live music is always unique and impressive and the DJs are some of the best I've ever heard (and I'm from LA). The cigar room is fun with a relaxed atmosphere while the bar is more high energy. For a younger crowd go on Wednesday for their ladies night and for a more mixed crowd go on saturday. The place isn't smokey at all and I'm there quite a bit (although I recall it was smokey a few months ago before they did some air revamping). THIS PLACE ROCKS! Pros: Ambience, crowd, music Cons: Not really much food here more

Can't be passed all that smoke! 8/22/2006

Wanted to try this place with a friend for a glass of wine but couldn't get passed all the smokey smell of the place. Walked thru the front door - turned around and back out again...can't comment on anything other then that...there are so many other wine bars that are smoke free that there no need to suffer the bad air in this one. I'm actually disappointed - really wanted to check it out! Probably a great place for the crowd that is okay with the smell of smoke. more

good time 6/1/2006

Very nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the good service and the food is good. Staff made all of us feel right at home. more

The most unique and amazing place in Colorado! 2/10/2006

This place is truly unique. It has an awesome happy hour (2 for 1 !) the best jazz I've seen (beats Dazzle and El Chapultepec) and it's privately owned, and the owners are always there to chat. I love this place!!! I've brought all of my friends here and they all agree too! -Eddy Pros: happy hour, live jazz, decor more
