The Old Spaghetti Factory

We took my daughter out for her Bday to the Old Spaghetti factory this week it was quite busy when we arrived. Since they do not take reservations we knew we would have to wait it out.. BUT we planned to go somewhere else if we were going to have to wait too long.. We were told by the Receptionist that it would be no longer than 30-40 minutes, which was longer than we were wanting but nevertheless we decided to hang out as it would take that long to go to our plan B restaurant. Well to make a long story short we got our table but only after waiting an hour and 15 minutes!!! Everyone was miserable by the time we were seated and we had been literally checking in every 5 minutes wondering about our table status. The humorus (not so) part was that their excuse was that they were waiting on a "special" table for us. The special table amounted to 1 small square table and one small round table pushed together for a makeshift large table for the 8 of us (when I must add there were numerous large empty tables surrounding us! I would like to say that the dinner made up for it but I don't think I need to spell out that The Spaghetti factory is known for their fine cuisine! Its pretty bland.. which though was many steps up from the Customer Service we experienced. I will not be rushing back to this place! more

The Spagetti Factory is a great place to take the family out for dinner! Its ALWAYS packed. We are always waiting an eternity to get in.. and theres a reason. Its fun, its cool, and its cheap! They have a great kids menu and all the kids meals include ice cream. The decor is cool and the building is HUGE. If you havent been here, and you have kids, you are missing out! more

The Spaghetti Factory is by far my favorite italian restaurant. The food is great and very affordable. You get a loaf of bread when you first sit down. The building doesn't look like much from the outside since it's located in an old brick warehous, but they have done a great job making it look old-fashioned on the inside. The tables, chairs and light fixtures are all antiques and none of them match. They even have a caboose of a train inside that you can eat in. Perfect for kids! They are not open all day long, so be sure to check the web site for hours. You can just shop up at 3pm expecting to eat. Do try to get there right when they open because they fill up fast and wait times can take as much as an hour because it's so popular. more
