The Humanitarium: Center for Culture and Diversity is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to eliminating bias and increasing diversity awareness through arts and education within the Bluegrass Region of Kentucky. They are involved in the following programs to meet this goal: The Diversity Directory; Facing History and Ourselves (FHAO); and various special events. The diversity directory includes organizations that promote diversity and inclusion, reject intolerance and honor the diversity found in central Kentucky. FHAO is a nationally acclaimed diversity education curriculum; the program has included teachers in Fayette County and six contiguous counties.
