This is such a great "campy" place! I admit I visited this store for the first time many years ago, simply because the name intrigued me. Now I don't know if I honestly thought it would be outfitted like a haunted house or not but what I found was a shop with a wonderful air of old books, knowledge and history within its walls.
Located on 520 East Washington Street, there is usually some parking nearby but again if you are the walking type of person (as I am) I like to park a ways away and enjoy the stroll to this shop.
Set up in a home that has to be 100 years old if it is a day, this shop has character, personality and a whole lot of books! The customer wanders from room to room to see that is available and while they don't have EVERYTHING, they do have a nice enough selection that most customers leave the store staggering under the weight of their newly bought items!
Check out this interesting change from a brick and mortar large chain store....I promise you won't leave empty handed....it's a gem!
