I'm in my late 30's and had never had a Brazillian and selected this place at random. The room was really small but the atmosphere was nice and Tabitha made me feel very comfortable. I loved the results the first couple of times -- then one time when she ripped the strip off it reall really hurt - Tabitha asked me if I was on my period and I said NO, I don not have a period. When I left, i went to my sons swim meet and while there blood seeped through my pants. I had originally thought that it must have been from the roots being pulled out. But NO ! Tabitha had ripped a 2" gash along the delicate bottom outside part of the outter lip. When I called the next day and spoke with a manager -- she was rude and said that it was just my period (which I don't have) I offered to come show her. She declined. I had really only called to inform them that there had been a problem -- that was it. When I called back the following day -- I asked for a refund and they said no but they could offer me a free facial. I DID not want a facial. I wanted a refund b/c the services were not provided as promised. I wanted the $75 dollars and the $10 tip. I pushed a lot more and they said OK -- but never gave me the $10 tip back. I understand mistakes are made and I am very forgiving -- but the attitude of one of the manager was the worst I've ever seen in the service industry. I will never go there again and would never let anyone I know go there. more

I was having a bad day so I decide to go the the Gallery and get my hair highlighter and I added a facial. When I walked in the front door a lady asked me for my name. I told her. then she said you can go to the back and be seated. I told her that I don't know where to go, but she just reply to the back. Well come to find out that they have two waiting rooms. I went to the first one without knowing. Then I seen a lady that worked there and ask her if I was suppose to change. Well she was kind enough to direct me in the right area. The lady that done my highlight wasn't what I expected. She told me all about her personal life, which I really just wanted to relax. The highlight was just ok. I will never go back to her. Now when I receive my facial, it was the best that I have ever ever received from someone. Jane was so kind. She knew that I was stressed out and she done everything that she could for me to have a awesome experience. I rate my facial and Jane very good. I will go back to her, but not for my hair with the other lady. more

I went to Gallery Salon for a Brazilian wax and it was the worst one I ever received!!!! The lady was really nice but she went too fast, she didn't get everything and she was very rough! I had pain and I was red for a couple of days after....not to mention that I got a bacterial infection from this place. It was probably due to the fact that she was not taking her time and she did a really sloppy job! Definitely NOT worth the money at this place! I wouldn't recommend Gallery Salon to anyone I know. Find another salon in Baton Rouge to go to for a Brazilian wax. more

My friend and I visited this spa for my birthday. We both had massages and facials. My facialist spent less than 2 minutes in my room. After about 30 minutes I walked out. When I contacted the manager she was less than helpful. I agree with the other review about noisy rooms and in urgent need of updating. I will not be back and I encourage others not to waste their time and money. I left extremely mad, tense and with a headache. Pros: NOTHING Cons: RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! more

I've received lots of brazilian waxes here. The women is really nice. She does a thorough job and gets most everything. As a consequence I always end up red the day after. Not a problem as long as you know and plan for it. more

This place used to be good. I've visited quite a few times over the past 2 years and will not go back anymore. The last 3 services were all late--one of those being a massage that was late by almost 30 minutes. Don't think they make up the time either. Masseuse still cut my session short and I didn't even enjoy any of it because I was so irritated by the rudeness. Top it off, the rooms where they do massage and facials were so noisy and distracting. You can hear people talking and laughing, doors slamming, weird plumbing, etc. The relaxation music does nothing to cover it up. Place is in desperate need of renovation and update. It used to be one of Baton Rouge's better salons but there are a lot more and newer places that are better. The prices are OK but I'd rather pay more for quality services and amenities. more

The gallery has pretty good service, but its expensive fior what you get. It doesnt stand out over other salons so much that it shoiuld charge the prices it does. It is located in Bocage, which is probably how they get away with higher prices. But overall its a nice place. more
