I have been considering a saltwater reef tank for several years. Yesterday I spent over four hours here and had three of their staff members almost tripping over themselves to an...

Very upset with this store. Went here for a while for saltwater fish and corals and bought quite a few over the past year. Never had a problem until I had to return one because it got sick and died. Asked employee if the fish's behaviour was normal at the store(was sitting at the bottom of tank, only moving occasionally) and he assured me it was fine. Then proceeded to sell me a crab missing half it's limbs as well, so I returned both two days later. Called ahead to make sure it was okay to return, and they told me it would be no problem. Went to the store and I was insulted for 'lack of care' and was asked to 'not buy fish from his store again'. Tried to be as pleasant as possible but they were very rude. I will not be returning to this store again, their tanks almost always have sick fish and will not hesitate to sell you them to make a quick buck. I'd advise people to shop elsewhere, such as A Reef Creations, Saltwater Paradise, and Buffalo Coral Reef to name a few. Their stores are much cleaner, the fish are healthier and the employees will actually answer your questions and treat you like a human being.\r \r It is also obvious how fake some of these reviews on here are. more

First impressions from the outside leave you wondering if ya should get out of your car. Inside it's all about selection and they definitely have it. Prices are excellent and I found no item more expensive then if purchased online. Continue to be a return customer more

Worth the drive 4/25/2012

I don't live near this store and drove the distance to come here based on a word of mouth referral through a friend. To me, the service is worth the drive. The staff was courteous, attentive and prompt. They were able to make recommendations easily and quickly. They answered all of my questions and handled me with respect, though I am a 'fish newbie' as I would say. They had a wide selection of products and fish. I walked out without spending an arm and a leg. I didn't second guess my purchases, and I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. All of those things are important to me both a customer, and as someone who has worked in customer service myself for years. more

They know their fish ! 2/7/2009

Whether you are looking to start your new fish hobby or maintain it, this is the place to visit.\r The staff KNOW their fish and will advise you. This is especially important if you are just starting out.\r They have a large healthy selection of both freshwater and saltwater fish. They also have a section dedicated to outside water gardens.\r You wouldn't purchase your tires at the supermarket, so why purchase your fish at the common pet place that doesn't have a clue what they are selling.\r Don't miss the display aquarium they have set up ! So big you could almost scuba dive in it : ) Cons: Would like to see more tank ornaments sold. more
